On a random jungle path lies our DREAM SHOP! Can't believe Siargao island has this now. An alternative market that will solve a lot of the island problems we experienced when we first arrived.
So we are back Stay-cationing in General Luna at Cathy and Gregs AirBnB, and we decided to have a little spending spree at Vinta Alternative Market which is a new dry goods & supply shop hidden in the back streets of GL. We were enticed to visit by their gorgeous instgram page / vinta.siargao
And we didn't regret it!
Our names are Jmayel, Sacha & Story. We traveled to Siargao island with Jmayel's mum & Story's grandma just before the Global pandemic that sent the whole planet into quarantine. We got stranded for months and fell in love with island life, now we want to make that life more permanent.

Story is really an island girl. She can just walk anywhere barefoot🤩
Many kids have a hard time learning how to swim, it takes courage combined with confidence to learn it with ease, and that's where Story shines.
Story walking barefoot in the sand? She really is an island girl! And she can swim too! Go story!
Running around barefoot _and_ "graduated" from swimming lessons. Island girl transformation is well and truly on the way.
Siargao and Story has this calming effect on me. I can listen to her all day long while watching Siargao's nature vids.💕💕💕

Spices store is such a great idea. To think that there are a lots of foreigners in the island. And eventually you are now catering those islanders that loves to cook.
Story is becoming more confident swimming alone. She is amazing!
