    Just a small correction. The 4K data rate is 150 megabits not megabytes per second. It’s still bigger than HD, but still not that big compared.

    Thanks, Fun fact. You can shoot in 1080 and then output to 4K in FCP and no one will ever know it was actually shot in 1080 ha

    the hfg70 doesn't even have a 1" sensor. what a joke. the hfg60 had a 1" sensor and then they silently downgraded the sensor for the hfg70. canon dumb

    Thanks for the video, right to the point. I will be using the camera for live streaming how can I turn off the setting that's showing on the screen when I'm streaming so others can't see it. Thanks!

    menu button Go to the screen setting, Left 4 times it is in th page 2 of the options It will say OUtput on screen display. Turn that off

    How does this compare to the g70? G50 with shoes, ir, scene modes sounds better. Same sensor on both

    Robbie, I have an old HF R500 used mostly for indoor youth sports, volleyball and basketball. My friends I Phone 14 has superior video quality, especially associated with the low light from indoor venues. Any comments on HF G50? Have you compared to an I Phone 14? Thanks for your feedback.

    Don’t shoot in 4k. Export in 4k. 😅
