How do you know when to change cartridge? Does the printer shows a warning? Or, the customer is expected to notice that the printing quality degrades? Brilliant videos you have.

No is has a fixed number of prints and it will tell you when to change. Extra info, if you reboot the device much you will lose one or two prints. Every time you start the device it will use a little bit during start up.

Can you show what charger you are using and how to charge it please

Hi Angeline, I charge it on the Canon Selphy with the powerbrick that came with it. The downside of this method is that while charging the battery you cannot print any photos. There are seperate chargers you can buy to charge them upfront or away from the Selphy. That product is called CG-CP200.

6:20 you are the only youtube video where the battery is demonstrated. I have the CP1200 and it receives this battery CP2LH. very important the third party batteries CP2 will not work, I've learned it in the hard way. You must buy original Canon battery CP2LH.

I know that feeling in researching and not finding pictures of video's about the topics. Sometimes non-brand items and than i'm 'okay i understand' but with brand items i want pictures at least from a few angles.

Hello, The original battery costs approximately $150. Do you thing it worth it to buy the original please ? How many years do you thing we could keep the battery in a correct % health ? Thank you for your answer, and so great video by the way !

It is still in good shape/ use. To be fair, an after market battery would work just as good.

Thanks for your review. The detail in the darker background can be brought out by lightening the shadows in software (eg Pshop) prior to printing. It appears your professionally printed photo has some black taken out as well?

Yes I think you are absolutely right, although this isn't a Photoshop tutorial the professional photo seems to be slightly edited to bring out more detail.

It charges in the printer when the printer is off. Alternatively there is charging block that is standalone. 🙂

I tend to do it through the unit, it is much easier for me. There are separate chargers for sale. It is up to you.

You charge it via the printer, you can charge or print not both at the same time. You can also buy a separate charger. I'm not really sure how long the battery last. That depends also on how much you start en stop the machine, wifi enabled or not, if you edit photos prior to printing. It is quite a beefy battery though. You can buy after market batteries with even more capacity listed on the box.

can you take printout directly from hard drive without the app?

Yes, just like your typical printer. You can use the Windows wizard to find and install the printer(driver) and Bob's your uncle.

It does charge with the battery in the unit and the normal power a/c adapter. The manufacturer states that the unit does not print and charge at the same time. Haven't found any problems in the real world. It seems to be doing great at printing and charging. Maybe they mean it doesn't supply charge while active printing but that takes less than 30 seconds?

Yes you can, almost like any other printer. Via wifi print/direct print and with an usb cable.

Hi Betty, that is the: Canon Case DCC-CP2 www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=Canon+Case+DCC-CP2&_sacat=0 I did'nt bought it from ebay, but a different seller. This is just as an example.
