Winter is hitting its stride!
Ponds and lakes are frozen.
Many birds take advantage of the current of the Loire, the last wild river in France.
It's not the -5 to -7 degrees that are going to disrupt the Loire; temperatures need to drop much lower for frost to start appearing!
The Loire here is more than 100 meters wide so I decide to test the 4K50 CROP mode on my Canon R7 coupled with the RF200-800 at 800mm.
To film like this at 1920mm it should be noted that the conditions are quite good, no major thermal disturbances this day!
Because at this distance there are many natural phenomena which can make the shooting very complex for a random result that is sometimes unusable!
At the end of the month I will receive my floating mount which will allow me to use the RF200-800 in better conditions.

1920mm?... Êtes vous sûr ? 800mm x 1,6 (aps-c) =1280mm....sauf erreur de ma part, mais je ne suis qu'un amateur. Kind regards.

@@limageurpublic la définition est la même mais par contre on perd pas mal en qualité et surtout lorsque l'on filme loin pour faire simple plus la quantité d'air a traverser est importante et plus nous sommes confrontés aux contraintes thermiques et autres phénomènes qui viennent déformer l'image...
