Not touch screen, has wi-fi on 60. I have 60 and would like the 70 for the eye/ sensor screen change and the slow zoom control on the lens. 4K is handy for taking a frame to make a still, its quite good on the 60. Think I will save my money for now though, see if it come down in price.

why did they get rid of the hot shoe? it was perfect for a vlogging external mic.

You have a lot wrong details! SX60 have Full HD and 60 Frames and the Cam had WiFi…and Mini HDMI … No good Video!

If for no other reason, the SX60 has a hot shoe and the SX70 doesn't. Stupid omission by Canon.

Without a doubt, the best improvement is the position of the movie button in the SX70. I really hate it on the SX60. The SX60's focus is really bad when low light or large zoom.

No bulb in the sx60

You thought that they would have checked that the sx60 has wifi! Not much advance after 4 years.

No, I agree. The new Nikon Coolpix 1000 looks promising but at R18 000 it's currently beyond my purse. It does have 2.8f and a fastest shutter speed of 2500. But in the meantime I'm very happy with my Canon Powershot SX60HS.

First of all SX60 does not have a touch screen. Secondly it will be worthy to buy SX 70 if You like videos. However, if You like more pictures then SX60 all day long.

SX70 is a great FAIL! We need bigger ZOOOOOM!

@dale Webb the same with powershot digicam zooming blurry in digital zoom I have one and I'm not satisfied with Canon powershot.Go for Sony cam

Its sucks for low light shot i mean you can get a superb low light shot from s@3 s23 s24 and iphone. Yes I have Canon sx60 didn't buy it my parents bought it, I have my s23. I use both I say my S23 does a better job but for zoom idc about zoom but I say canon okay. CONS Canon over price for what it come iwth 500 dollar for what you get? No touchscreen for focusing on what object you want to focus unless you press that button to move the square but doesn't work on video manual. Low light is horrible compare to S23 even if your inside its not bright. fast shooting mode is slow can only go out to 3200 iso Manual movie mode is okay not really good though but I say its okay.... Slow mo video 120fps only 480p cheeses Autofocus is not fast and pressing down shutter button is not even faster then Sony HX80 that can just instant snap a picture. Indoor recording show to much noise unless you open light or window, less light your see noise. people need to understand that this camera isn't meant to be pro camera but its just a budget boring zoom camera. there is nothing special about this camera for 500 dollar that overprice.
