OMG. Thank You. After fiddling with this stress-trap for hours I was finally able to set the printer up wirelessly without buying any accessories.

You definitely deserve gold medal. I can’t believe how canon is do damp not to be able to direct such a easy WiFi connection. You are legent.

In the manual there is no information about connecting to router (maybe I just did not find it), so your simple video helped me a lot. Thanks :)

I don't understand why so many of you in the comments were not able to connect, I read the user's manual, followed the istructions and it worked without any issues... I think the trick was to install the software package on my PC first, start the setting process, but switch on the printer and press the connection button ONLY when you reach that specific point when it is asked, then it will connect automatically (30-60 sec), drives you throuh some additional steps like cartridge positioning and trial printing (you'll need 2-3 A4 pages), and that is all.

Muss man den router mit dem drucker kaufen ? Ich habe Versuchen zu verbinden sie mit computer und handy aber leider konnte ich nicht

Vorher stundenlang probiert bzw. Anleitung studiert, ohne Erfolg bzw. Ergebnis (TS3151). Mit deiner Erklärung 60 sec. gedauert! Das stand nirgends in einer Anleitung (online und Anleitung anbei) Top! Danke! :-D

Does anyone have any further information, please? Just bought this model, and I've tried everything to get a connection. I've pushed WPS button, held it down for 3 secs, 7 secs, 10 secs...I've pushed WPS before, and after hitting the wireless connection on the printer. I can only print with a direct (wired) connection!? Wasted money, it seems.....
