FINALLY. ok let me explain what happened. i actually posted this video yesterday, but it got blocked TWICE because it had a copyrighted video in it. so i deleted this video, removed the copyrighted clip, and reuploaded this. WELL I THOUGHT IT WAS OVER, but when i checked, the audio was messed up, and i had to fix it again. so yeah, this is the 3rd repost (not really, i tried to upload this again several times, but it failed, so that doesn't count). enjoy! the copyrighted video is THAT one scene in season 2 (i forgot which episode) where yamaguchi snapped at tsukishima. also, if i made spelling, grammatical, and editing errors... no i didn't. because i usually make and edit my videos at midnight (yes, i wrote this comment at 12 am too), so please understand.

Rather than Tsukkiyama being Salt and Pepper I kinda see them as more like Lemon and Lime (especially with their hair colours)? Like, Yamaguchi is not an innocent baby, also, in the manga there was literally a point when he said (something along the lines of) ‘What is Hinata going on about now?’ in a kind of mean(?), done with Hinata’s nonsense kind of way? Also, I never really understood why people make such an obvious power imbalance in Tsukkiyama, like, personally I only really ship characters that are portrayed as equals, (like Kageyama and Hinata or Oikawa and Iwaizumi) as otherwise it could very easily become toxic. Like, Yamaguchi would tell Tsukishima if he was being mean.

Nah, Yamaguchi doesn’t tell Tsukishima’s when he’s being mean in the anime at least, he laughs and makes jokes, and makes fun of Hinata and Kageyama right along with him. Though, he does help them and is not up to Tsukishima’s level of sarcasm he acts just like him.

Canonically, Goshiki is kinda a brat, hence 'bowl-cut brat', because he's overconfident/cocky and is a suck up for compliments (sometimes a bit of a show off like Bokuto but not really), but I think he's genuine and mostly chill. He is a hard worker though, I definitely have to give him that. Koganegawa, he's trying his best, is loyal and respects his upperclassmen, kind of clumsy (but that's probably because he's quite new to the game??), friendly, and energetic. He shares a similar personality to Inuoka in my opinion.

I still remember when i used to watch hinata harem back then. And i realized it. Hinata harem its so f*ucked up.

the only thing that’s canon is that high-school hinata doesn’t like vulgar swearing so HE doesn’t swear(i.e that one scene where he tells kags to say poop instead of shit bc it was too vulgar). but ppl took that and ran with it making him an uwu soft boy when this mf literally hangs out with noya and tanaka 😐. and he makes friends/rivals with almost everyone he meets, majority of them being upperclassman. like cmon i hate fanon Shoyo with a burning passion

Let's start from the starting. Kindaichi part, amazing. Totally true and on point. He had some unrest with Kageyama but he still cared for him. And yes, I was just going to say that in the future, the made up. Kunimi is not always lazy as you showed us, because he didn't join vbc just to sleep. And Oikawa is respected, I don't get why people just put him down by saying that he is a wimp. Lev's nailed it. He is not vulnerable and he definitely doesn't call Yaku short all the time. Yaku is insecure about it and he knows it so he gives him space. And just to tell some people, if someone has bangs which resemble to Dora as people say, it doesn't mean that we are cute, innocent and baby. Because I have bangs and people baby me, so sometimes I have to show my strength. Same goes with Goshiki. Koganegawa is calm, sometimes hyper, but that's good, because people can be both, and he is not dumb. Yachi, is not a person who steals other people's mans. Get your mind out of the gutter who made the fanon Yachi. Kageyama does not always think about milk, boke hinata boke and volleyball. Sugawara is actually a person who supported Kageyama the most, well he supports evryone equally, even Tsukishima and Yamaguchi. Yamaguchi is Tsukishima's best friend, not his slave. And Yamaguchi is the future captain for fck's sake. Tsukishima is sarcastic, not rude, and the first years friendship develope over the course of time. And Tsukki respects his Senpais. Hinata is literally the oldest first year, like he is a healthy teenage boy and doesn't need someone to constantly baby him around. And did I say that he is not innocent, if yes, then I am repeating it. And people like Hinata for his skills, not the 'HEY WE ARE THE HINATA HAREM AND WE MUST PROTECT BABY SHOYO'. Sugawara is fine as he is. No need for the 'protective mother mode'. He is as chaotic as Tanaka. ......oh sht I just typed that long I am sorry!!! But I love your thinking. (no offense to fandom)

Canon Kindaichi is actually a resentful person, however he does give other people second chances. But only when they actually change. And that's what people cannot accept. They believe that forgiveness is every criminal's birthright. Fanon Kindaichi is not very different, but unfortunately, toxic fans believe that having self worth is bad, and Stockholm syndrome is maturity. In other words, Kindaichi is the same person in the canon and fanon, but while canon makes his resentment understandable, fanon demonize him just because he didn't "move on". It's the fandom perception that's different, not Kindaichi himself. If Kageyama became mad at Kindaichi for rejecting his apology and stalked him for it, then he would never forgive Kageyama. however, after seeing his humble attitude, Kindaichi softened up a bit. Problem is, we believe that bullies are always justified, deserving sympathy and victims are the ones responsible for everything. It's not that fandom paint Kindaichi as a narcissist, it's that fandom judges Kindaichi from a biased point of view, a point of view that Kageyama himself never shares.

Although I appreciate these vids, the canon Haikyuu characters do have some unlikable characteristics in them. Tanaka and Nishinoya are simps, they're not JUST simps but it is stressful to see their interactions with Kiyoko. That's just one example, it just feels ingenuine when some of the characters (the 'canon' ones in this video) completely shun certain characteristics but they technically do have them. For example, Tanaka and Nishinoya would be weirded out by someone stalking Kiyoko, but if someone texted 'I'm following Kiyoko' they most likely won't think they're being serious, since they don't take her seriously either, not for the majority of the show anyways.
