This is one of the most difficult Cello pieces ever constructed, not because of technical difficulty but because it takes incredible patience to play through the whole thing

I guess if you played the song 390429439 times hahah Even the first times you played it, you didnt enjoy being part of the whole piece ? I can't speak from personal experience as I am not a musician, but I can see the person behind the cello enjoying the moment even if they're not doing much but supporting these violins going at it.

@@furret6167 That is true however I cannot hear any sounds that resemble a viola. A string quartet is traditionally 2 violins, a viola and a cello, but you can have 3 violins and a cello. Being a violinist myself, I was watching that person and trying to figure out the sounds that he was making. I figured that he was playing a violin as he was going onto the E String. I never once heard a viola C string sound, nor any notes that would be played on it. That may just be me who thinks this however

I play the double bass and I honestly love this song because I like being able to play long and beautiful tones to support the rest of the ensemble and because its a beautiful song and playing an easy part it is nice to be able to listen to it as a whole while playing. If youre "bored" while playing, then you aren't really into the music making the most beautiful sounds you can make. Music is a gift to the listener and being able to take part in such a gift is an honor, no matter how simple the part.

Pachelbel was such an artist that he took the bows into consideration. Observe the movements, notice the flow. Note also the violins play the same thing delayed by 8 measures stepped. This is musical genius. And I'm into metal. His skill is amazing, even to this day. Needless to say, you all played beautifully, he would be proud. Job very well done.

Apocalyptica, Megadeath, Video Game Orchestra, Nabuo Uematsu. Game music like Rome: Total War, Legend of Zelda, Skyrim, Final Fantasy Series, Castlevania and Halo (from what I heard). TheMightyJesus No, it's more like "he listens to metal, he must be violent". And yes, I'm really into music. I should be after playing guitar for twenty years. Metalheads tend to like Hard truth, no matter how bad. They are also looked at with distain in USA, even today. I feel like because I listen to "heavy metal", most would think I know nothing of "real" music, like Bach and Pachelbel, but this is the source of the metal feel way back in history. What do you know of music?

Beautiful. Why is it that wonderful classics like this do not have that many views but songs like 'Blank space' or 'All about that bass' have more than a billion views. We need to make classics by Pachelbel, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, etc. more popular and need to make the world realize how nice these songs are. Who agrees with me and thinks that these songs are wonderful?

You have to take into account the age in which we reside. Humans evolves, their ears evolve, and--in turn--music evolves. Personally, I would choose a song such as this to listen to any day over most of today's pieces, but in the end, we can't expect our society to be that high class anymore! :))

This is basically the second most popular wedding march in existence. I think it's ten times better than the traditional march, but it's not overly complex. This piece is probably one of the most simple pieces that this band has ever played. I'll agree that it's pretty, but it's the same three chord progressions over and over again and it never, ever becomes remotely difficult. So don't praise them too much for playing instruments perfectly. Don't get me wrong, these guys can play some pretty amazing music. This just isn't it. I like it, you like it, and they probably like it. But this piece is about as easy as classical music gets. Not trying to pop your bubble or anything, but this isn't difficult to play. At all. Also, before you criticize, I played classical piano for years. So don't assume I'm ignorant on the subject. This piece is just really easy to play.

I cannot believe the negativity amongst some of the comments. The cellist obviously knows what he’s playing, whether he plays this or something from Tchaikovsky. I don’t think he looks “bored,” he’s just “feeling” the music and embracing it. All these people with their criticism, are you experts? Can you actually play an instrument, like this, so beautifully? Do you play and those listening, feel it in their soul? Do you play in front of an audience of hundreds and get a standing ovation? Probably not. Instead of spreading your uncalled for nonsense, how about either appreciating the beautiful music or move on?
