Film photography is making a comeback, and I wonder if people run into the same issue nowadays? Are they able to order digital files on a disc like how we used to when they get a film developed? 😆 On a side note, I tried a new talkinig shot setup and I don't I like it! 😅Will try again in another video.

I'm thankful that your video was included in the recommendations by the KZread algorithm. Wow, what a treasure your video is. It was just what I needed. Although I've already scanned a few of my mother's old photographs, scanning a whole album of them on my scanner takes a while. I'll be able to complete the project of scanning all those old photos using this scanner and share them with my entire family in Puerto Rico. Thank you so much!

This is a great video! I have a normal printer/scanner that has to be scanned one at a time, and when it scans it saves in 8.5x11 format, so I have to manually crop out the blank canvas which takes way too long to do 😅

What settings is everyone using for most accurate image scanning results? Canon R40 users only please.

Instead of scanning cards and christmas cards, I like to take nice photos of them with a nice scene. With a little photoshop I'll sometimes use a wider frame with the front of a card on the left of the frame, then another photo with the back of the card on the right. Then I stitch them into a single photo so you can see both sides of the card. I always make sure to update the date before upploading to google.. every christmas I get memories showing all the cards I received throughout the year and often times share it with the people who sent them to me.

how about naming/editing your metadata of the photos before scanning so you can easily organize your scans like chronological order date?
