DHCP on the router can be ON, but you have to add printer IP to the reserved IP addresses list on the router and after that router won't touch this IP. Thank you for the video!

I am so grateful that you shared this, because I have been having so many problems with my printer not printing. I think you even addressed that problem (with the auto acquire). I have had problems with the printer shifting the top margin down about .5 inch or so, as well as the printer not recognizing the paper tray & me manually having to choose the paper tray every time I print. Please help me fix these problems (I can't function without my printer). Thanks again & have a blessed day!

Now I'm having the same problems again. I had to uninstall & reinstall my printer & it's not recognizing the printer. I did everything just like you did in the video. This time it is after the windows 10 update. :( I have cleared the print spooler. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hello Ibrahim, You have mentioned static IP address and I see that you have added 105 at the end of your IP address. I am not really that familiar with computers but could you tell me where did you get the Static IP address. I have a Canon ImageClass MF 8380 CDW. Whenever I turn off my iMac, I lose the Wifi connection and I have to do everything all over. It works fine with USB connection but not Wifi. I am lost and just don't know what I have done wrong... best regards, Fahim,

If you ever need to factory reset press menu>8>2>menu. I had to because the latest update made my printer really slow. Now works like new.

Network key should be the password used to connect a device to the network.

I found my IP on my Mac by searching "My IP address on a Mac" it's in the system preference.
