I just bought the Canon C70 and you're absolutely right about Wide DR. I did a "Let's Talk" video where I talk about how well this picture profile work with talking head as well as vlogging. CLOG2 is a profile I reserve for shooting RAW ST/LT because I want to get the most out of those large video files. Great tips for those who are starting out with this amazing camera. pay attention noobs.

Hi Carlos, how do you set the slow shutter below 1/15 sec? I choose "slow" in "shutter mode" but I can't go below 1/15. I can only increase to 1/30.

The crop is more like 1.6 on canon cameras actually... but anyway. The RF 15 - 35 on the C70 is actually a 24mm - 56mm .. combined with the new RF 24-105 f 2.8 (48mm - 168mm) you have what you need for most.. If you need more wide angle.. the new RF 10-20mm (16mm-32mm) is perfect And then in the new year (2024) canon makes the new full frame RF cinema cameras with build in NDs and you can keep the lenses but switch out the camera body

Initially I thought so too! However remember that the C70's sensor (26.2 x 13.8 mm) is slightly larger than the APS-C sensor on Canon's other cameras (22.3 × 14.8 mm), so the C70's crop is technically 1.534 ( essentially 1.5) on UHD and 1.460 (essentially 1.4) on 4K DCI mode. You can see this on Canon's C70 "Specifications & Features" page under "Lens Magnification Factor": www.canon-europe.com/video-cameras/eos-c70/specifications/ I do hope Canon releases a new RF full frame camera this year! If we can get a C500 Mark II form factor with an 8K, RF DGO sensor that would be amazing!

@@carloscortesi6411 yeah you are right… but anyways I am really looking forward to just full frame 4K 120p with ND build in :) Canon was SO close to the perfect camera with the C500 mark 2 😅 so damn close
