You can also use live view in realtime to find a white balance in Kelvin degrees. As well as exposure in RGB histogram for a much more accurate exposure so colors don't get clipped.

When I press the drive mode button or the AF point selection button. The back monitor screen does not activate. I can only change settings using the top LCD screen or the view finder. Why is that?

The AF point selection menu is not showing on screen when I press the AF point selection button. It worked fine earlier. Now only showing on top lcd screen and viewfinder. How do I correct this?

Press the info button. And the rear LCD screen will be displayed.

Last (5th) page of the purple AF Tab...AF Microadjustments will be found there.
