Congratulations for waiting eight years to have a child. My experience as a pediatrician with older parents was that they were light years ahead of the newbies, who have emotions, but no clue. I grew up on the water (Gulf of Mexico) during WWll and was a Coast Guard mascot. What a child learns from adults is far more valuable than what they learn from kids. You are both great parents, and your children will be exceptional. Kudos

Brian and Karin are both responsible, kind and intelligent and I know these two will be outstanding parents to one very fortunate new life! I never expected Dominica and its inhabitants made up such an awesome island.....

Congratulations! As a new parent myself, the best bit of advice I can give you is don’t skip out on any chances for naps before the baby comes!

You might need to change the "Buy us a beer" to buy us a box of diapers. Congratulations guys. Your child will be blessed with you guys at the helm.

@Fergus Ferguson I think it is easy to be envious of their life style Fergus. And I agree even to be a bit resentful. That is human nature and our western socio-cultural conditioning. But you have to put there good fortune into context and then I believe you may have empathy and insight into there situation. What you have to realize is that they EARN the donations from patrons , sponsors and KZread as payment for providing entertainment for us viewers. However I believe it is more than mere entertainment. There videos bring joy to so many people, who will never be able to do what they do , by allowing them to live vicariously through them. There videos provide so much information, knowledge and wisdom. Insight into human behavior and communal living. We see and explore different environments, culture and peoples. If you have been watching from the beginning, as a lot of us have, you will know that they put in an incredible numbers of hours filming, editing, organizing, responding to comments and subscribers and patrons and so on. As paid entertainers if you break down their hourly rate it is pitiful. They are a long way from getting rich from their efforts : especially when consider the cost boat maintenance , refits , insurance and so on. Also Patrons come from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds and they are not fools. They donate because they appreciate and respect the journey Delos is on. They donate as way of showing their appreciation and to help ensure the journey continues so they can continue to share their journey.

Congratulations Brain and Kazza! What an amazing couple and such an incredible life you all live...the life most will never have the moxy to jump in to.

@ ianluk. i believe it will be easier on a boat. a more controlled environment. a Better environment. world traveling feeding the childs senses with the oceans lullibys. i Cant think of a Better Place to raise a child. Surf , sand , oceans lullibys , vitamin d from the sun , no crib necessary , The Hands of Mother nature will Rock him or her to sleep. , Fresh salt air to feed oxygen to the Brain 🧠. Nothing better !

Oh yes - I absolutely enjoyed the story you told about Dominica survival and recovery from hurricane Maria. The people there look amazing. The canyon trip was awesome as well. Thanks for taking us on that journey.

Amazing to finally see episode that Kaz springs the the baby plans on the rest of the Delos neighborhood. Do this, happen! Such a beautiful place and adventure to go along with it. Good to see almost two years on ,the locals are back to ready after the CAT5 Hurricane tore a gash in the heart of the island. Banning single use plastics should be a given. Replacements are available for these items to where one would not know the difference , except the environment. If its plastic make sure it a reusable item. Congrats to the growing Delos family.

Wow, you guys did such a good job capturing the essence of Dominica and their story of the hurricane and the recovery. I was on Dominica around the same time you guys were. (I think you were on Martinique when I was on Dominica. I looked it up because I was hoping to meet you. But the tallship I was on was on a tight schedule.) I heard the same kind of stories about the lack of power and that a lot of people left the island. I also went to Titou Gorge. It is the prettiest island that I have been to in the Caribbean! Also, congratulations!

Almost lost in the big announcement is the amazing footage of your climb/repel/hike and that waterfall. I’ve run out of superlatives to describe your adventures. After 3 boys and no 12 grand kiddos and 1 great grand. All I can say is you two are in for an awesome turning point in your lives. I will say this, it’s great to have grand kids cause now we get to spoil and the send back to the parents for them to try and straighten them out. When I had my first child I was given lots wisdom from other dads but this one stuck with me forever. "Santa shouldn't ever bring a damn trampoline!!!". When I first heard it I thought WTF¿. After several Christmas have past, I get it and you will too. A father will do everything he can for his children. However setting up a trampoline in the middle of the night....You get the picture. Find the simple joys for all of you. Congrats brother your life has just changed, nothing can be more hard, scary or, rewarding. :) BTW: You officially have new names MOM & DAD happy for y'all.
