Yeah PrintF has a really good filter for prioritising close matches and includes a lot of losses, good dude

PrintF is the only Honorable CanonToss out there! As a Terran I tip my hat to your sir!

That's one of those wins where I finish and I'm so stressed I'm not even happy about winning, I just need to lie down. And just watching Bibolat go through that, I'm going to go have a lie down. Such amazing decision making.

haha sometimes surviving a game like that is the perfect point to end a ladder session

awesome game. the spreading out the barracks from Bibolat was genius. I was rooting for him to spread out the groups of marines a little to always having 1 or 2 threaten the remaining buildings but he pulled it out in the end anyways. wp.

A bit of a dick move from the protoss. But cheesy players never leave the game when they should...

I feel bibolat was in shock for most of the game with that after reaction, definitely made the game a lot more interesting

Not that I expect anyone to be playing optimally under that chaos, but I think the best move would have been to land a Barracks right next to printf's last structures.

Halfway through it was clear who won but that was quite a wild ride.

yo print f, if you adjust your 1st gateway postion slightly u could exp there and use recall on your probes to counter reapers if u need.nice video thx pig not a fan of cannons but was fun to watch nice commentary as always gg PS Pig remember classics dt hatch snipe with obs for high ground vision,if myou could do some video on how wp that strat was etc or something, that was true protoss tech and skill balanced with risk and very clever. gg

Would it not have been good at the start to medivac your scvs out of the main and to another base and float starport out and build Valks and keeps the CC and a few scvs repairing the barracks to pretend like you were still there until you had AA?

Yeah definitely getting away from the battery cannon once you've killed the Protoss economy has to be the priority. Hard to think straight in these situations though

This is quite close to what my (only) build is so was quite fun to watch. But i don't suffer from the "one base or die trying" handicap printf gave himself, and just pop my 2nd on their natural. And yeah, tempests are quite atrocious vs small units like marines and zerglings. Not their fault imho, just because the SC2 "firing solution" of shooting whatever is closest is in itself atrocious. Even the most naive "overkill avoidance" algorithm would have huge impact here.

Yes, Shootings whatever is closest isnt a coincidence. If tempest would prioritize specific targets it would be OP and it would decline micro managaement and skill.

@@st4ndby Not true. It's just the least processing needed. Bad by design/need not intention. A proper firing solution just eliminates "bogus inefficiency", it doesn't compete with proper micro.And unless your name is Alphastar, you don't have the EPM needed for "proper micro" aka single unit one way or another.

@@st4ndby Have you ever even played mass Tempest? There's a good reason it's considered a meme build, it's because only a total idiot would loose vs that. Zergs will shred you with corruptors, terrans with viking/cyclone/stimmarine and toss with blink stalkers. All of those at less than 1/2 the cost of the Tempests, less tech tree investment and less build time. Only thing mass Tempest is good for is extracting salt from Diamond players. Masters know they got meme'd and don't care, but Diamond? Foaming at the mouth raving mad doesn't even come close :D

@@jkkim6928 in a properly designed language, cannon === true shouldn't be ever needed. Instead, it is logical to write it down like *if cannon and base == 1 then […]* And no, not «print f»: it's *printf* function. It is a standard library function.

In a language with an expressed type comparison/inheritance check operator, it'd be better more naturally readable. Something like *if x is Number* or something.

I've never rooted for terran so hard before in my life. I hate cannon rushers so much, so infinitely much, they are the corrupt lawmakers that do harm to everybody, with no remorse, no sense of justice, just egotistic pursuits
