Morning Andy this is our sort of family walk and I see you took yours alobg too ! Such a beautiful area. The walk that you did through the forest/ woods was beautiful and its great that they have so much that you can do here including cycling walking running and that there are other things like treetop activities. Loved the fairbrook pools and Stoney Brook places . You had a nice day for it too. Thanks for showing us around, enjoyed the walk :) ~ Anna 👍

Thank you Anna, Yes Cannock Chase is a regular family walk out, often parking at the smaller visitors centre and making our way to the busier area. There is a lot to do there, and it stretches for miles. Thank you for watching. 👍🏻

@Tanzeel Ahmed There used to be a designated barbecue field at Marquis Drive Visitors Centre. I'm not sure if it's still there. I did see signs saying no bbqs in some areas, so I don't think you can anymore.

One place I haven't walked yet around

Some nice walks over The Chase, That one is a great starter walk, from visitors centre to visitors centre. Free parking if you start at the Marquis Drive end. Thank you for watching mate, appreciate it 👍🏻

@Midlands Outdoors There's a nice trail from Marquis Drive, RAF Hednesford trail, where you walk around what used to be a large RAF base, you can get a Leaflet from the visitors centre and shows you what used to be there, full of history, that one bud. I did the walk on my channel, but I don't cover the history. I would love to see your take on it. It's only a short walk, there's nothing there now but the remains of the old camp roads.
