Canistel/Eggfruit tree pruning & shaping on trellis | Canistel cuttings
We have some gaps to fill on the Canistel/Eggfruit rows and it's a great time of the year to strike cuttings. The young Canistel trees that are about 18 months old need pruning and training on the trellis so we go through what we do in terms of pruning and shaping them on trellis.
Unfortunately we lost more Durian 😞

Good stuff, wouldnt have thought canistel would take from cuttings. Keep us updated on how they do.

Will do. They have always done pretty well in the past so hopefully this lot will too! If not, maybe I will have to go back to not being so particular, throw them in the shade tunnel and hope for the best. Seemed to work first time around but maybe I just got lucky! 😁
