This game has A LOT of different problems, but boxing simulator without smooth transition between inside and outside fighting is anything but realistic. Sometimes Undisputed may even look decent as long as you staying outside and using range, but at mid and close range it's a mess. I'm sure for some simps it's perfect and "iTs OnlY eArlY acCesS", but game is years away from being a competitive multiplayer boxing simulator most of us hope it'll be.

@@VBeef907 They should be further along than they are though. Games been in development for 3 years. and it took them 2 1/2 just to get the punch animations looking half decent... and they still feel janky at times.

Hey martial, will you go more into depth in later videos with the specific boxer traits & the different controls?

This is the most excited I've been for a combat sports game since UFC Undisputed 3. You can tell when there's passion behind a game. They just need to add some impact to the punches.

they need to work on a lot,.. punch tracking, balencing, the ai knows what you throw and counters before you even throw it, when you are at very low stamina you still move as fresh as you were at the first bell so you can literally stay away from your opponent easily, body shots deal far too much damage, (i get chopping the tree down etc) buts its op, every ai opponent throws more body shots or almost 50/50 ratio to head shots.. this is so far from reality. hook spam is real,.. you have to be a time served apache pilot to get up from a knockdown!! like seriously its easier to get up from a real knockout that this crazy mini game system. stamina on ai opponents doesnt go down.. deontay wilder loses like 1% stamina per round and never stops swinging.,. you can land 5 power shots in a row,.. or power jab after power jab,. like 15? and hardly ever get cuts or facial damage, very hard to rock most ai opponents yet they can have you doing the chicken dance with a few well placed shots.. and yeah feels like you are swinging marshmallows or in a high profile pillow fight when landing punches.. despite all this if you are a boxing fan,.. its worth a blast and hopefully the £25 price for early access will be worth the investment if they can improve these things

Can you showcase a title fight in an offline bout, young brother? Championship fights in exhibition mode is a MAJOR feature I'm looking for. None of the Fight Night games had them. Hoping the character that wins retains the title throughout the mode, as well. Hope I'll see that video, soon.

@@WeWantJ3sus Its not okay its early access because they charged $30 for it. There also seems to have been zero improvements since footage from over a year ago.

One thing they could improve massively are the knockdown animations. They feel like they have no weight to them and they seem to almost fall in slow motion. Would love to see a wider variety of them, like getting hit through the ropes or going spaghetti legs etc.

A little review here, but TLDR -- highly recommend if you've got the PC and you're on the fence. No brainer if you're a boxing fan. This game is better than it might come off in videos. The control scheme is surprisingly deep (deeper than Fight Night) and feels better than I thought it would. One thing Undisputed probably does better than all the other sports combat sims is representing difference in styles -- how one fighter or character can play completely differently from the next. Only PS2 era Hajime no Ippo compares (look it up.) Tech-wise, this is as good as it gets. The netcode is elite tier so far. The graphics engine is solid, looks fantastic and performs well. Legit next-gen feel almost like seeing FNR3 running on 360 the first time. The presentation was another surprise. Jimmy Lennon Jr introductions, entourages in the ring, multiple commentary teams (I think?), good menus, extensive fighter ratings & perks, a soundtrack, lots of game options, etc. Then there's a training intro you can tell some good effort went into. I wasn't expecting all that in an early access coming from an upstart studio not backed by one of the major publishers like EA. Lot of work still needs to be done to make this game special, but it has the potential to get there. All efforts should go into punch animation, hit reactions, everything along those lines... and ragdoll knockouts which are absolutely essential. These canned knockdown animations ain't gonna cut it. Solid 7/10 right now.

I can't wait for the full release so that we can see all of the boxers and how they feel in the game

Yes but it’ll be added later. I want them to add an ability to make my own custom fight cards with little details like making specific ones rematches etc. either to play or watch as the AI fights are actually awesome.

They should make it to where we can actually see a promo event your fighter has to go to and another thing also they should make it to where you can be a referee for all fighters if your coach says you have to reff also i want to see the face off with any opponents you fight also if both fighters have a press conference we should be able to see that to

One thing I don’t like about this game is that the fighters look a bit stiff. It does seem faster than before which I like but I do feel like some strikes are still too slow looking or don’t seem to really have much impact or weight when they land. For example the rear hooks look too slow, but the game definitely looks better. (Also maybe it’s just me but the ko’s and cutscene showing the winner should be changed. I’d love to see fighters have unique celebrations after a dub, they don’t all start jumping in joy)

It's a terrible game atm.. No replays. Very unrealistic damage. Fighters rarely don't show facial damage. Kos are so lacklustre with a quick animation and no ragdoll physics. The walkouts are bizarre. Walk out on their own then trainers appear in the ring. The anologue Stick is not fluid at all. You just end up button mashing which makes it feel very arcade.. The commentary is repetitive and doesn't go with what's happening in the fight. The graphics are good and that is about it. The physics are quite bad as they are. Biggest thing is the stamina model, no way will a top fighter gas out after a combo. It's ridiculous.. Very disappointed with it.

Early access doesn't end bro.. If you buy early access then you will own the final version when it releases. The final version will be more money, so early access may be debatable to some but may not the worst idea if they do indeed improve the game.

i know its early access but i have two major complaints: 1. i wish in the future the punches are less tense so they aren't as stiff and flow more. Like Canelo's punches should be way less stiff so combinations feel more fluid 2. I like the angles but i think straights shouldn't whiff as easily since it'll just make them very useless and people will just always use hooks. Plus jabs are so useful in every fighting game so at least make them connect more or add a way to faint jabs so people move left then you can hit them with a straight.

Sadly devs are keepin punch animation so the stiffness and tenseness is going to stay they put to much time into graphics and fighter stance with a small company so they got lazy with mechanics 🤦🚮

I hope they fixed the annoying dropped inputs and input delay. That was a dealbreaker for me and I put the beta down after two fights because I noticed it immediately.

This game looks decently good from what I’ve seen just downloaded it but the style and the graphics and punches look nice there plenty more updates to come surely they gonn have to fix that blood animations tho

There not in online yet because it’s glitchy. So they took it out for gameplay fluidity

Yes. It's because you can't move during the recovery frames of strikes. That's a problem I called out a while back. It needs to be addressed.

So you play with controller, right? Do you use face buttons to punch or can you throw using the joystick like in the Fight Night games?

Genuine question but is it possible to pressure fight in this game? I played it earlier today and i just get countered the hell out of for any shot i throw, and the hooks don’t feel close and compact for the inside fighters. I try boxing and it is a bit better but i still get countered for every punch. Maybe I’m just bad idk but i was kinda hoping for a modern version of fight night champion

Martial, for your fight night gameplay and undisputed, how do you manage to get the games to look so good and run in 60 fps (frames per second) on your playstation 3. My ps3 doesn't look gameplay isn't nearly as good looking or smooth. And I have a good monitor

That's because I don't play FNC on the PS3. I play on the Xbox one. As for Undisputed 3, I think the game automatically runs at 60fps. I think. Besides that, I'm not really doing anything special.
