Jax and Pomni find themselves trapped in the treacherous Candy Kingdom Canyon, where danger lurks around every sugary corner. But their troubles are far from over as Pomni is captured by the sinister forces ruling the Candy Land. Now, it's up to Jax to embark on a daring quest to rescue his beloved companion from the clutches of the candy bosses.

Six troubled human souls, including the timid newcomer and series protagonist Pomni; the trouble-making rascal Jax; the cheerful optimist Ragatha; the emotionally fragile Gangle; the moody perfectionist Zooble; and the paranoid veteran Kinger, find themselves trapped in the Amazing Digital Circus. This virtual reality game is run by a quirky but oblivious artificial intelligence named Caine and his enthusiastic assistant Bubble. Sent on relentless and sometimes traumatic adventures, Pomni and the others strive to maintain their sanity and uncover a path back to the real world.
