Pomni mistakenly believes Jax kissed Ragatha and hastily concludes that he is cheating on her. In a fit of anger and hurt, she throws away the ring Jax gave her and flees. Ragatha, attempting to comfort Jax, devises a plan to win him over, but Jax refuses. This rejection angers Ragatha, leading her to kidnap Pomni with the intention of eliminating her to have Jax for herself.

This virtual reality game is run by a quirky but oblivious artificial intelligence named Caine and his enthusiastic assistant Bubble.
