Literally just had that issue

Hi, nice to see how you repair your machine. I have candy washing machine and last week e09 always shows just before the end of the ciklus when it needs to centrifuge. Then I pull the plug and put it back and it does the last 10 minutes od the centrifuge. So I roll it on a side and I want to check the brushes and they are fine, but what I notice is that the comutator on the motor is clogged with carbon from the brushes and after I cleaned it with contact spray, toothbrush, scraper and some milde sanding paper it works fine for now. So if some one have the same issue maybe this will help. Keep up the good work and have a nice day.

Got my machine fixed now thank you. What a lot of gunge in the filter but its going fine on a trial run with some washing machine cleaner.

I reckon doing a 90 degree wash regularly is better than those cleaners.

Fact on Error Code E09: 1 - Triac Fault (Default for E09). 2 - Tacho Error. 3 - Balance Sensor Tamper Detected [caused by manual distribution + wind up by hand] (Common for E09). 4 - Winding up drum by hand. This Error Code E09 is commonly used on Hoover + Candy + Siemens + Bosch + Neff + CDA + Fagor. However on Hotpoint + Indesit + Electrolux + AEG + Zanussi it is an Error Code F01.

I had candy machine for 6 years before it started vibrating and jumping. My moms Bosch kept going for over 10 years. Thats why i got a Bosch this time and i am super happy not owning candy crap.

L3 indicates the level of washing i.e. L3 is 2hrs 49 mins, L2 less time and L1 less time again. It's not an error code. You change the levels by pressing the button 2nd one along from Options. Hope that helps. Contrary to what others have said, I find this a really good machine. I have always had Bosch or Zanussi and this Candy is just as good.

Hello, I hope you can help me after creating so many tutorials about Candy and Hoover washing machines and washer-dryers, but I hope you can help me. the engine stuttered during operation. I thought it might be due to the collector or the engine brushes, so the collector was cleaned and the engine brushes were cleaned again and put back together again. shortly after I put the plug in there was a rather bright flash. don't know what I did wrong reassembled as disassembled. In any case, the washer-dryer does nothing anymore, or even when the plug is plugged into the socket, the drain pump motor starts to run slowly but LEDs all off, no beep, sound from the mainboard, nothing happens.

How could I help you

E09. This is indicative of a short circuit in the motor triac (which controls the spin speed) on the electronic module in your Hoover washer. It will no doubt require replacement.

No, I know as there's no point, it goes straight to e09 so he will need a new sensor balance sensor

An E09 error code means that you have a problem with the motor triac on the circuit board. This may mean that you don't have any motor drive.

I find once most things eg tvs washers start to have problems. They normally dont last much longer. Even if u get them fixed. Best to just get new one there not designed to last very long nowadays i think neway.

Have you looked in the manual or searched online for what the error code means? Element?

I have a similar washer 2 and a half years old but the display went blank with no error code. The only sign of life is a beep when it interfaces via nfc to my smartphone. Should I trash it?

All reports are that these candy machines are crap. check that the display board is connected to the main board, I think there is tow in there. Have a look at my other videos on this model and maybe that will make sense. If it just that a cable has come loose then it is easy to push the plug back in again. good luck

Had L3 when switch it on then bleeps and cycles through options and keeps bleeping. Cleaned filter as had some money in it :-( and switched plug off washes but prob remains :-(

Ran the hottest wash I could. Comes up L3 and options stopped bleeping and cycling. After 3 secounds L3 disappears just incase this helps anyone.

I don’t get why people say these machines are crap I have owned mine since February this year and never had an issue with mine and my family love using it I also own the matching dryer

Hi, have a look at my other videos on this machine. I thought it looked good and was a reasonable price, but it failed because of a simple manufacturing issue, and a £2 part failed on the circuit board, but you would have to buy a new board at £50+ if you got it fixed through a mainstream service engineer.

There could be damp or condensation on the back of the display or on the board. Effectively pressing the buttons by contact. You could try taking it apart and cleaning and drying it.

This is a fairly new machine ands got a fault.i got tge same model inmarch this year ,and had trouble with ut from day one.engineer says nothing wrong with it,but ive been using a waher fir over forty years.the problem is it takes tge fabric conditioner,but when cycke finished and i take washing out it doesnt smell or feel like conditioner has gone on,i know what it should smell and feel like.engineer been out said its fine.i called them out again.he did what he wanted said its working well its not.and because he says its ok he wont listen ,or o asked to put the washer on to show what the end product is like,but he would not.im fuming

@@bootsowen hi again sir as about the key was the pcb i repair it now i have an other problem when the pump drains the water i see inside of the drum and the level of the water decreases normlly until i cannot see water but neverthless the pump continoous working it doesnt drain waters on the output tube and it sounds a noise like a tractor after one or two minutes i have the fault e03 can you give an idea from your experience sir my problem is the same the pump or the pressure switch mabi is the fault component asd doesnt give the command to the pcb stops the pump ?

Hi Owen glad to have found this video, something simple I hope and looking to avoid a call out fee from a tech . The rubber seal came off during a spin cycle, just wondering if its relatively easy to get back on ? Doesn't seem like the washing machines of old where it would go easily back on just curious would I have to take the top off etc or if you have any idea I'd appreciate it thanks

Hi Ian, the door seals are all much of a muchness to install, if it came off the front just inside the door it should be easy to get it back on , if it came off the inner tub then you have to get in there. I have posted a video on how to do it on a bosch machine. have a look/search at my channel videos.

An E09 error code means that you have a problem with the motor triac on the circuit board. This may mean that you don't have any motor drive. The L3 is not an fault :) just so you know :) L1 L2 L3 are all normal thanks again for the content buddy :) The complete list incase you get more ;) An E01 error code (or on some models an E07 error code) indicates an issue with the door lock. This could be an issue with the door lock itself, the wiring or the connection to the PCB board. An E02 error code will indicate an issue with the fill. Now this either means that there is a trapped, blocked or pinched fill hose, or an issue with the water supply or with the valves. An E03 error code indicates there was a problem with the drain circuit. This usually means there is something stuck in the pump. An E04 error code may mean there’s a problem with the anti flood, this means you have water in the base and may indicate that you have a leak. An E05 error code means that you have an issue with the NTC (the water temperature sensor at the back). It may be as simple as a loose connection which needs reconnecting. An E06 error code is either a problem with the machine being out of balance if the error code is displayed straight after a spin or it's a problem with the control board being faulty. An E07 error code is either a problem with the door lock or with the motor being jammed and unable to spin. An E08 error code indicates a problem with the motor speed sensor. This can result in the motor spinning up at very high speed for a few seconds before slowing down and then stopping. It may also mean that the motor is not spinning. An E09 error code means that you have a problem with the motor triac on the circuit board. This may mean that you don't have any motor drive. An E10 error code on older machines may mean there's a problem with the motorised selector. On new machines it could indicate a drum sensor issue if fitted. Now error codes 11 through to 14 all relate to issues with washer dryers. An E11 error code indicates there's an open circuit on the dryer heater or a module issue. It's a good idea to check the wiring from the sensor on the top the drum to the circuit board as this can become damaged during the spin cycle. An E12 error code suggests a PCB communication error or an open circuit on the dryer heater sensor. An E13 error code means that there is an issue with the PCB as does the E14 error code. This could also indicate an issue with the dryer heater or the NTC. An E15 error code indicates that there may be an issue with the circuit board. It may not be programmed or the memory chip may have become corrupted. An E16 error code means there is a heater insulation problem which could cause the tripping of your fuse box and other random cycle errors, but it’s hard to prove without the replacement of your heater. An E17 error code means that there is an issue with the motor tachometer and could result in your motor not spinning. An E18 error code means that there's an issue with the PCB.

Hey owen, really glad i found this video. Ive been searching for weeks and couldnt find any videos on this washing machine! Im having issues with the buttons on the machine. They all seem to want to control the spin cycle! The Play/pause doesnt work as it should and changes the spin cycle, as does the temperature button. Any ideas on what this might be?

The short answer is IDK. but try turning it off at the plug and leaving it for 5minutes or overnight, it may reset itself internally, I had a similar issue with my samsung and no power cured it.

I bought this machine and the tumble dryer to go with it. The electric display has disappeared so i can't even see what the error message is and it floods. It won't wash anymore even though I have cleaned it out. The tumble dryer gives sharp electric shocks everytime it was used. I won't buy this brand again.

Ours started doing this and it also starts by itself when you select a program. Seems like the start stop button sensor is stuck on. However, it's a touch sensitive button. Took the front panel off, and the circuit board. All you can see is the ribbon cable across the buttons. Can't take it off as it's bonded. Cleaned the sensor cable, but still does the same. Can buy new front panel for around £50, but tend to find if one thing is playing up, not long before something else.

Ours had also started beeping all the way through whilst it cycles through the icons above the "options" button on the far left. Other than that it works and goes through the wash cycle just fine. Any clues as to what we can do ?

l3 means dirt level so l1 light l2 medium and l3 is pollution level i guess
