As a teenager I got a fucked up teddy bear from a claw machine. It freaked out my sister so I wrapped it and gave it for a Candlenights. Since then it's been rotated through the whole extended family, nearly 20 years going. and you can't guess who's giving it from who got it last year, because it gets snuck around. Every year someone unwraps it, and we all laugh to avoid staring into it's giant blackhole eyes.

HEY me and my friends do this every year and we call it a Christmas Heist. At some point in the year we have to steal an item from a friend's home (name picked out of a hat Secret Santa style) and then it's gifted at Christmas. If the person guesses what's gone you lose points, if they guess who did it you lose points. Points given for how long you stole it for prior to Christmas, size of item etc. UPDATE: we have been playing this for more than a decade and yet we dont think any of us has ever thought to name it properly and now we are disgusted with ourselves. The gag was right there.

The Candlenights time of year is when my wife knows to clear her podcasting schedule open, Thank you boys for making every winter season special.

When I was 8 years old I gave my sister her own hairbrush for christmas, which I had stolen sometime around Halloween for that express purpose. Giving of hairbrushes is now a sacred thing in my family and we often bedazzle them and present them like the most precious of jewels and I'm SHOCKED that Griffin reached back in time and stole my prank just to gift it back to me today.
