Its good to see Ilanya again. Its fitting that she's in the song after watching the Running up that Hill cover. After the hell she went through including the loss of her loved one. Its so fitting. Now she's a tired warrior whose found peace and comfort from the light of a candle. Its perfect.

I would ask a doctor about that.

If you are looking for those lost in the darkness, but also respect the darkness. Be a candle. You don't have to destroy the shadows to show others the way.

I feel a warmth spreading through my heart from this. In my mind's eye I see a single candle casting dancing shadows in a small room with a beautiful full moon shining through the window on the house overlooking a port town. The gentle waves lapping over the shore as a cold air slowly becomes warm under the flames touch.

Your range of genre and music capability never ceases to astound me. Beautiful as always. I'm so glad I found your channel.

when i heard this i think of my bard/wizard genasi singing about the paladin of the party as the candle and the sun is the sorcerer who is soulless that my bard is working on saving him cause she feels responsible for his death and cause shes trying to save him hes developing feelings for her but is trying way to hard to be this beacon of light to /save/ her from the past she can't escape but must embrace

Not gonna lie that... PC(?)... reminds me of Dimitri from FE, which isn't a bad thing. Your songs always... fk... idk... excite me? Like it doesn't feel quite right with this song because as hopeful as it is I feel wrong using happy or "brighten my day" and other words/phrases with something so... somber.
