My band Abrupt Edge had the pleasure of opening for this great band in Reno, Nevada in 2009. We were from Boise Id. This band is hands down one of the greatest live bands you will ever experience. Kevin is truly amazing vocalist, and front man! The whole band wss really nice, and made us feel like we belonged. A dream come true for a small town drummer from Idaho.

I don't understand why they don't perform butterfly live =/

Even though Candlebox is calling it quits touring wise, there is always this show that I can fall back on. I was lucky enough to follow Candlebox one year, as they did a stint through central U.S. I started in Omaha NE, then, Kansas City MO, Salina KS, Wichita KS, Oklahoma City and I think it was Austin {or was it Dallas / Ft. Worth}. Incredible summer; thank you Candlebox! I was a boxhead on irc, and will ALWAYS be a boxhead.

I fractured my collarbone while listening to far behind at one of their concerts. Rockfest 1996 in KC, MO. I was 14 and cried surfing when It happened. I still finished the show

Wow, this video made me feel like I was present at this concert. And the sound...wow again! I played Candlebox CD everyday for months in '93.

It has only gotten worse. Rap trash took over and dominates with the young kids. Vile, vulgar violent noise.

Having the extra guitar player was a great decision, the guy really helps out for that nice fat guitar sound. Great job Candle Box.

His guitar tone is impeccable.

Kevin Martin is the ablolute GREATEST in MHO. My friend Julio got me started on them in '93 ............. I got sober in '94 and a friend of mine from recovery bought the "cassette" for me and ALL their albums and lyrics have ALWAYS resonated in my life. I took my hip-hop preference son to see them in S.B. last year and when they opened with ARROW we were all in. He loves CB because of me and I will FOREVER live and die with KM and Candlebox. DEEP IN "MY" SOUL

Guitarist Peter Klett very possibly had the best ever guitar tone on Candlebox's debut album. In 1994 Klett was awarded best new guitarist in Guitar World magazines readers poll and very much so deserved. Don't forget in 1993 Pete also did a nude shot for Playgirl magazine as one of Rocks sexiest musicians. My sister bought that issue I remember. Excellent guitarist.

KM is by far my favorite singer/songwriter!!! I hate how he and his bands are underrated! HE, THEY DESERVE THE SPOTLIGHT!! Way more talented than 90% of today's bands!!! These guys are THE BEST!!

Wow. You are so lucky to have witnessed this amazing concert. How I wish I was there, just fantasizing and I would have been dancing my ass off to his majestic powerful most incredible voice. He is as powerful and hot at the end as he was in the beginning. No slowing down and what a work out. Love that sweat.

Such an under rated band. One classic song after another. The whole band is absolutely amazing.

I remember many years ago where I was, what car I was in ,when I heard Kevin's voice singing from a CD my friend played for me. I was instantly blown away and in love with his beautiful voice. Been listening to Kevin ever since and showing this concert to so many people that haven't seen it and younger ones who never heard of him and every single person has loved this concert. Even my son 26 years old

I would say one of the greats but you have a big list. The top would still be Freddie Mercury and Robert Plant and following that would be Chris Cornell and Kevin Martin with Myles Kennedy right with him.

They just don't make music like this anymore. Such an amazing concert. I have to come here usually once a week to hear this. He still hits every note! Kevin did an acoustic show in July that I was able to go to and it made me fall so much more in love with this band.

Truly one of the greatest vocal performances I've seen. As mentioned already...so underrated. Every song immediately takes me back. Candlebox is one of the best to come out of an era of so many amazing bands/songs. They could hold their own then and to this day! Kevin Martin's vocals are incredible!

Yes it is...Vexatious pretty much picks up where they left off many, many, years ago. Hate to say it but it's.....ummm Classic? Candlebox? Maybe just, Candlebox. Nothing more is ever needed when describing them.

The notes he hits... so underrated. Even Chester Bennington cannot do that. MUCH respect. I thought I had conquered Kevin's vocal style and all patting my shit on the back and then I hear this and I'm like, "Never mind." -_-

Kevins voice is Simpley amazing. Period!!!!!!!!!!

I am a 70's and 80's hard rocker, and of all the 90's bands, Candlebox was the BEST! Fantastic song writing, the very best vocals, sizzling lead guitar, and many blues based rock and roll songs. I have seen these guys live 3 times, and I was very impressed all 3 times. I have seen Soundgarden, STP, Pearl Jam, Fuel, etc., and none compare to Candlebox. I will be seeing them for the 4th time at Rocklahoma 2015! I can't wait!

Holy carp, what a SHOW! I only just discovered the existence of Candlebox recently through a Wikipedia rabbit hole exploration. MAAAAN this band is AWESOME!

This band is my adolescence… this will forever be one of the songs I associate with being a teenager, and a reminder that there was so much talent in the 90s that it makes new music sound sad and empty.

I've been listening to them for 20 years now. I'm old and need it louder.

One of the only things I loved about the 90's Candlebox is one them. They sound incredible even after 12 years after I got their album they sound so similar to the recordings...LOVE IT!!!!

They still kick ass!

This is one of the few bands that sound better live than in the studio, geniuses.

Not only musically but the SHOW....top!

Love this band, was lucky to see them Charles Town, WV. Those guitars are so powerful. Great show !!!

Yes brother Drivin N Cryin is equally underrated just in different ways. Great music comes in all shapes and styles but you know it when you can SEE it and hear it. Live music will always be the truth no matter how many tricks they try we can tell what's authentic!

"Candlebox" was easily their best and most complete work."Lucy" had several great songs, but there were also some average ones. I am HUGELY interested to hear new material from them. I always felt they were one of the better live performing bands, I have seen them 4 times myself.
