What was really great was that on this whole three or four year touring force they would do their show and it would be the best damn show at any of the venues they did! I saw them on this tour in Winnipeg Manitoba and I basically pee'd my pants just to show my gratitude for how great they were.

Greetings from Texas This band is and members are legends...if you all look up the guitarist who is a legend as well and he was a prodigy ..Jimmy McCulloch he was in the band called Wings he was gorgeous and died a horrific death at only 26 yrs of age his Beloved Brother Jack who was a drummer found him dead drug overdose in his London flat in 1979..I was 14teen when this took place....a shame and a disgrace Jimmy would of fit in with this band...Rich bares a very strong resemblance to him money does not bring true happiness this band is blessed to not have succumbed to any drug overdose in there hey day God bless you all

Yeah, man! No doubt. :)
I had just watched the Crowes on the Tonight Show from 2024, which was OK and it’s great to see the brothers back together, when I stumbled across this show. This is a world of difference from the current incarnation of the band and shows the greatness of a first explosion of music when you are young. I saw this show in Manchester UK in 92, having previously seen them on the Money Maker tour. The opening of the Money Maker tour remains probably the greatest 4 numbers I have ever seen done live, but they struggled a bit after that to fill an hour and a half with just a single album. This tour is really where they proved they could motor for the whole show. I remember taking a girl to this show, who wasn’t a die hard fan and she still isn’t but we have now been married since 1994 so I would take that as a good sign. This video stream is one of the greatest things I have found in KZread in a long while and makes me feel just a little nostalgic for 1992 when you’d see one of the greatest rock and roll band in their absolute prime. Enjoy the band today but revel in the band as they were.
this is the crowes in their absolute prime!!!!!!!!!!!
Who else is here and trading off between watching classic KZread clips and reading Steve Gorman's book? May rock n' roll someday be this fucking good again.

Listening to The book on Tape now, if he left the F word out of his book it would be 3 hours shorter. Every other word... Still great, but a bi repetitive (I get it the brothers hated each other but were the meal ticket of the band). Made me go back and grab all their music and go through it all. I was out of college when Shake came out. Lived in Atlanta but never saw them.

Same vibe for sure. When I heard them on their "Shake Your Money Maker" album, I also thought of Rod & The Faces and also Marriott (specifically with Humble Pie w/ Frampton). Chris has the pipes & stage presence of both Rod & Steve...and all 3 have some of best voices ever to sing straight-up Rock, IMO. BTW, this is a fantastic concert, with all The Crowes firing on all cylinders. I see Rich is also playing a black, triple pick-up Zemaitis that Woodie famously played with the Faces up to this day. Loved it...wish I could've caught this tour!

Ok. I have going to rock shows since 67.Seen thousands of great rock shows..all the top influential names. This branch of the Rock Tree starts in a lot of places....but ends right here. These guys kept the south and blues in all their music...but borrowed heavily from Zeppelin, The Band, The Faces and all the unique american and Irish, English and Scottish folk influences. These guys are the best rock band playing today. Their evolution has been remarkable and what the guitarist Robinson has done with the power chord using Keith Richards style open chords...he is just friggin awesome.

AMEN TO THIS We were Screaming in his name at the ATX show that just passed a couple weeks back Him and Marc Ford, and goddamnit Steve Gorman too, were such a backbone of this band . I will say that Yes , They did put on an amazing show and they sounded excellent as well, BUT, I was one of those fortunate souls that were present back in '05 at The Joint in Las Vegas for 2 shows right in the heartbeat of one of the best times to have seen them with what I refer to as "Thee Ultimate Lineup" Chris and Rich Marc, Eddie, Steve , Sven and Mona and Porsche And for almost 3 hours they gave it all to us and we gave it right back. Sad to say I believe those days for them are gone at least for the present moment who knows what could happen. This band lives within my soul though and always will. Black Crowes for forever and a day
Opening with two rippers. Bam. So much rock n roll, makes everything alright.

Twice in Richmond: Rockin to open for Plant early 90's! Frustrating, doped up, snooze show mid 90s. We should have walked out. 3 snakes and a nap.
This is Awesome! Pure Rock N Roll!
You really can't put words to this performance. I get to emotional when I hear the intro. The energy.................Just amazing...........Great band.................
A message I sent my buddy Chris Broderick when I found this video: The first comment I saw about this show below the video says, " In their prime. There was no other band better at the time...." And they are exactly right. November 11th 1992 and this is the "lineup" of the band when they could have become something else, they could have been as big as ANY of the classic Rock n Roll bands: The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Eagles....... What I'm saying is you were exactly right Chris, this was the lineup of The Black Crowes that was and should always be remembered as the very best version of this band. We got to see this lineup on May 8th 2015 at The Tabernacle in the A T L! The first reunion tour that started in Frisco with "Roll into the Fog" then "Brothers of Feather" and then they did the shows we saw, the "All Join Hands" tour. The first album, "Shake Your Money Maker" was the talent and magic of Chris and Rich, Gorman and I believe Pipien came in at the tail end of the time of Shake your Money Maker and was one of the new components of members in the band and when they got Mark Ford and Eddie Harsh they then had their Mick Taylor from The Stones and their John Lord from Deep Purple and with Sven Pipien and Steve Gorman on bass and the closest any drummer has come, in my opinion, to really being as powerful as John Bonham:; certainly maybe not as creative but just in the power of driving a band, in the 90s Steve Gorman of The Black Crowes was a badass unto himself.... He had it in the early '90s. Dave Grohl's drum work on Nirvana's - NeverMiind was some of the best drum work ever recorded and was absolutely one of the main reasons that that album was so fucking huge. At first, thinking about it all... Dave Grohls' drum work on that album is the only thing that can be compared to Steve Gorman with the Black Crowes in my opinion. If I was going to get in a discussion about it I'm sure other albums would come up but if I had to pick the ones I thought were the best from the 90s it would be those two first. You saw them in those early years and I saw them at the Midtown Music Fest 93 or 94. It was the first Midtown Music Festival in Atlanta and it was the best one, the only one in my opinion. I helped a buddy of mine with a band he was a roadie for at the Cotton Club on Peachtree, we finished there just in time to walk across the street where the Federal reserve building sits now but was a vacant lot at that time and they had a stage set up there. A Jazz reggae band I believe was finishing their set and then as it was turning dark the last moments of twilight on the day and that's when they hit the stage. The Black Crowes come out and tore into Remedy and Sting Me, off The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion. The album that shut up all the naysayers..... These mutha' fucka's came to get down! And they were on fire that night. From the start of the show coming back to where it all began for them proving they made good to everyone in their hometown the bright full moon kept rising behind them in a clear sky bathing that stage and the night in a beautiful moon glow as they played. One of the best rock and roll moments I've ever experienced. And it was this lineup, the one that was the best of them in their prime. There was no better band around at the time.

Steve Gorman over DG. Insanely good musician. The backbone of the Crowes. Without him... no Crowes, right?
My God, what a great time for rock and roll. The Black Crowes here were at the peak of what was possible for a live band to achieve. At this time we also had Nirvana, Soundgarden, Metallica, Alice in Chains, Guns n Roses and others, all at their peak. It was an amazing time for music.

Yep… and I enjoyed every minute…👍
Was lucky enough to see The Crowes 4 times, 1st one on this tour at Aston Villa Leisure centre aged 15. Had a paper round to do next morning, remember getting as stoned as is possible and just being in awe of their greatness.
Saw them approx. two days earlier in Hamburg. Excellent memories and still a fan.

I grew up in New Haven & caught them live several times, including Palace & Toad’s Place. One of the consistently best live bands in their various configurations over their entire career. Rock on!

They're such a locomotive in shows like this. I love how this looks and sounds! And the glimpses of the crowd having the time of their lives. Great memories.
I seen them Live in '92. At the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney. One of the best concerts I ever went to.
Absolutely fucking awesome, what a start to a gig! 2 greatest songs. Saw this tour in Newport Centre, South Wales. Fantastic!
