Candied Strawberries (딸기 사탕, DdalGi SaTang) | Aeri's Kitchen
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
👩🏻🍳 For this delicious candied strawberries, all you need to do is simply melt white sugar and cover the strawberries with it. It can make great and unique party or snack food. In Korea, these are skewered like a kebab. I will show you an easier way to make it at home rather than the typical way you see it as street food.

This is awesome😊Bryson is so cute! Thanks for your video all the time
Although i cant remember many words, the middle schools in my area have a yearly exchange program with Korea. its always really great to see them (im in middle school now, but my brother still takes part in it) and we learned some of the language, culture, and alphabet. my best friend visited Korea too. i think it sparked my love for the asian cultures, and my other friend is still a big fan of Kpop :)
Since I don’t have a thermometer I’ve failed like 100 times making candied strawberries. I’ve tried few difference recipes and methods but yours is the only one that actually worked !!! Thankyou ! X

Wonderful! Thank you for the recipe, Aeri!
Bryson ^^ sooo cute. Thx for another fun recipe Aeri!
Dip the fruit in the syrup is the best way for the best shape.. that way you coat it evenly...
Thanks for the awesome recipe going to try this out this weekend. And your little man is soooo adorable.
Oooh, Unni! I love this...simple and delicious + fresh strawberries? win win!

These are definitely a fun treat to bring to a potluck! Thank you!
I remember eating these at Cheongju (청주) in South Korea. They were really sweet because weirdly, Korean strawberries are very sweet, NO tartness at all. They were one of the foods that I just can't forget eating in Korea in 2008.
I really love to have this !!! first time I have in taiwan then I fall in love with it !!

Those candied strawberries look so yummy. I'm not very fund of fresh strawberries(I know, I'm weird) but I can easily enjoy eating this way. In Japan esp during any kind of fairs, street venders sell sour tangerines this way, usually candy coating is a lot thicker and stick to our teeth with bright pink color. I never thought of making same kind of goody using strawberries. Thanks for inspiration!! Your son is sooo adorable.
I like all your videos!!

i love how you say 'obtain'. so perfect and classy :)
Similar to how I make candy apples. Thanks for the idea with strawberries. Wow Bryson is growing fast...so cute.
Ooooo the shiny hard coating looks tasty. I'm going to try strawberries and pineapples.
Oh, I really love Korean Strawberry!!!
I truly appreciate your concern and good advice. Yes, sometimes, I trust my son's ability or careful character too much. Anything can happen in any time to those little boys. I will try to be more careful in the future. Thanks. Love you too. :)
As I mentioned in my video.. you need to check your sugar syrup while you are boiling.. if you over cook..or too high temperature .. the problem you had happens..
Yum I'm gonna try thanks
I made a small batch of these today to test them, and they were great ^.^ I'm so surprised I didn't mess up the syrup. Thank you for sharing it, I will be making these in the future for my Korean boyfriend!
He's soo cutee !!

If the temperature is not high enough..and if you don't cook the sugar long enough..that can happen..that's why I showed the way to check the sugar syrup.. dip some with a toothpick and dip it in cold water.. the texture of sugar on toothpick is what you will get on the strawberry..
These are also sold as street food in Chile. I LOVE them. Now, I can make them for myself. :) Thank you!
Wow! this looks so good. And I can do this! Thanks.

+Aeri's Kitchen I will, Aeri. BTW, do you have a recipe up on how to make pumpkin porridge?
I was really nervous when Bryson was eating the strawberries with the skewer O_O your son is so precious! And all your recipes are cute and fun ^.^
In France there is an appetizer called hard cherry tomatoes, we did dip cherry tomatoes in caramel and then in black or white sesame you should try it, it is very delicious!!!
Wow, that's a healthy street food
i love this :)
This will be great for my niece birthday party next week lol :)
아들이 표정이 밝고 건강해 보여서 좋네요~ ㅎㅎ 다음 비디오는 뭘만드실거에요?? ^^ 요리 비디오 보면서 배우는게 넘많아요~~
Yumm thank yu ^-^
They make these with hawthorn during winter where my mom comes from in China- it's sooo good and cold and awesome!
I will make these for the 4th of July❤
Just made these! I don't know if I'm seeing things or not, but when I put the strawberry into the sugar water, it seemed to get more vibrant. Also, when you bite into these, they have a perfect amount of crunch and the strawberry juice just is overwhelming. Had a bit of trouble keeping them on the skewers though. So good, a must try!
Oh this looks like a great idea! I'll have to try it with pineapple ^^
I will add it to my list. thanks :)
Please do more street food! They're my favorite kind of food even though it's usually the least healthy....thanks! particularly more skewer food
I am so making this. YUM!!!

My heart was pounding when Bryson was skewering the strawberries. (I thought he was going to poke himself. Really glad he didn't.) If the sugar hardens in the pot, will it stick in it? If it does, how do we get it out and clean the pot?
your strawberries are so perfect

Whooa, this looks fun to make! I think I will make this for my eonnie :-) She likes strawberries, so this is perfect! Thank you for this video! ^^ Bryson is so cute keke :3
So that's why my tangerine tanghulu's weren't hard. I did not harden the sugar long enough then the syrup was soft. Thanks for the tip😁😁😁
You can use toothpick.. one per one berry. Just dip it in the syrup.
that's a good idea ^^
bryson ate it all in one go..hahahhaa..thnks for the recipe
나이거 한번도 본적 없는데ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ맛잇겟다
Guys this maybe turn into hard sugar after it’s because you need to use CORN SYRUP I have tried several times with just sugar and water but it never worked but when I tried with corn syrup it finally worked! Just some advice 🙃
