ive been dealing with this for years & went to so many doctors for so long did so many tests, medications, procedures, etc. just started like 5-6 days ago and my mcas/hi went away, temp regulation issues, fatigue and so many more have gone away. my diet before all this was literally like 90% sugar, carbs & cigarettes. im so happy im finally recovering, mct oil oregano oil & turmeric have been great. going to start on my probiotics & boulardii maybe next week once i feel this is really gone. im never treating my body like that again man i literally thought i was going to die multiple times lol im 6ft and was 115 lbs at one point. God bless anyone going thru this its so horrible

I have been battling with something for 4 years now. I got a joint infection from shoulder surgery for which i was given alot of penicillin and clindamicyn over quite a few weeks. During this time i started getting hundreds of heart palpitations daily (which have been tested and thought ro be benign) followed quickly by quite extreme constipation. (I had a colonoscopy and it was excruciating despite the drugs). I was taking over a week between bowel movements. I then cleaned up my diet (mostly paleo but included porridge as it helps me have a bowel movement. I have had bouts of scaley flakey skin patches on my head, brain fog, fatigue, blurred vision, depression, anxiety, all things I'd never experienced.. The worst is i have recently developed athritis in my knees and fingers. Im a very fit and athletic 33 year old man. This video has given me a new avenue to explore when my doctors have given me nothing at all.

I am really impressed with this information. You give a better breakdown here than most doctors on KZread I've seen talk about the subject and it's really comprehensive. I took a stab at it and decided to go ahead and purchase the Berberine and enzymes to compliment the paleo diet I am on. Had heartburn and bloat afterwards so unfortunately it doesn't seem like this will be the right option for me. I'm reading a lot of the same in the comments, that is, of people with similar gut issues being unable to tolerate any supplements. I'm confused about why this is, since most natural doctors use supplements as part of their leaky gut regimen. I wonder what people who can't tolerate them do, and how they treat it. I know you can't give any advice on here, but I'm putting this out anyway for the benefit of others. Seems like a lot of people are in my situation and have been beating their heads against a wall trying to figure it out, and like me, have seen doctor after doctor. The only thing that has worked for me so far is keeping up with a really strict paleo diet. Fortunately, my tolerances have increased so that I can include a full range of vitamins. Many supplements I still can't handle, though. I have no idea why. I will check out the site you recommended below, www.ifm.org/ to see if I can find a good SIBO doctor. Personalized advice might be best. Again, thanks for all you are doing and love your channel :)

I've been down a similar road to yours and still am for the most part. But I've also seen amazong results due to good life style amd eating habit changes too. it took 6 months but truly amazing what does happen. Here is some food for thought for you though. Paleo diet is good but can be tricky at times. you have to know what vegetables you can eat that dont cause problems for your digestion. For this I recommend learning about "The Plant Paradox". (a book) if you haven't already. this Dr recommends this book as well in her other videos. Also she said in her video a lack of acid in the stomach is the culprit for bad indigestion. So my guess is you could most likely be eating the wrong vegetables and getting a SIBO or SIFO digestion results (bloating, nausea, etc). because your small intestine has too much bacteria I'm it due to those afore mentioned conditions. On top of this the capsules that the berberiene etc come in, don't always digest easily if you have low stomach acid. So the combo of the wrong vegetables and low stomach acid could give you those issues you mentioned. Not guaranteed ofc but hope this helps you somehow. gl

Thank you so much for this informative information. I have been researching this for over 6 months and by far your video does the best in explaining what is going on. It is so detailed! I have been dealing with this candida yeast problem for over 2 years. I keep getting sinus infections all the time and my old doctor kept putting me on antibiotics, I would get yeast infections and now I am resistant to Diflucan. I crave sweets and complexed carbohydrates and she blamed it on my pre-diabetes. I also have asthma and know that the inhaler - Symbicort contributes to yeast overgrowth. I have been whining myself off of it for the past 5 months. I am down to One puff - every other day. I have gut issues and it hurts when I eat food. I thought I was losing my mind due to depression, brain fog, fatigue and all the other symptoms I am experiencing. But now I know that I am not crazy!!! This gives me hope I can beat this. I am going to request the doctor does a stool analysis and see it they can refer me to a gastro doctor to do the Duodenal Aspirate. So thankful for doctors that treat the problem and not just symptoms! I am changing my diet immediately and getting the supplements you suggested as well. God bless you! 🥰

Hey there. Disregard my previous comment. I finally tried the digestive enzymes once again. Since my first reaction was so strong, I wondered if it was just too high in strength for me. I'm not sure how the dosing works for these capsules but I'm sure much of it is trial and error based on the patient's specific needs. I opened the capsule and shook out about 1/4th of its contents into a glass of water, drank it slow. I did this right before I ate and later that night, I realized there was a noticeable difference in my mood and digestion. The ibs and heartburn was much more mild, and they continued to improve over the past couple of days. My mood also improved, almost upon the moment that I took the enzymes. I'm going to follow your suggestion to introduce one supplement at a time. So FYI for anyone struggling who has tried any of your supplements and been unable to tolerate them- TRY BREAKING THEM UP. Shout out to those who are struggling! Lol. I'm surprised no one has suggested that. Don't assume they don't work. There is something called an adjustment period anyway from what I've read, so 'some' reaction to the capsules are normal :)

Hi Doctor. For the first time ever. This is the best video on Cadida and Sibo. Most Doctors still don't agree that either exists. I want to tell you my story, and see if you can offer me any advice. I'm 72. And I have been sick and getting worse for over 40 years. It all started with endometriosis. I had a full hysterectomy at 32. It took 5 years of tests and treatments, to be told I have M.E/CFS. I was so ill for many years. I then went private and was told I had Candida. A year of fasting restricted diet, supplements, probiotics and cleansing. I got a little better for a while. I cut out dairy, wheat, sugar. I ate loads of fresh food. Fish and chicken. Nuts and seeds. But I was never really well. And that's how I lived. Then over the years I was treated with antibiotics on and off for a bacteria in my gut. And years of antifungal drugs. I always watched what I ate. 7 years ago I was treated for breast cancer. Surgery and radiotherapy. I had side effects that left me with Fibromyalgia. Always in pain and I'll. Living on painkillers. I live in the UK. I found a functional medicine Doctor in London, Harley street. I had tests. She found I have Sibo, Adrenal fatigue, Mitchocondria dysfunction and so on. We tried supplements that I couldn't take, as I have bad reactions to every thing that went in my gut. I also had Low dose Neltrexon for my fibromyalgia. I couldn't go back to see her because of lockdown and Covid. So after a few months, I started to see a gastroenteroligist near where I live. He said I had really bad IBS and flatulence. He treated me for Sibo, with Rifaxamin. I had to pay, as I couldn't get it on the NHS. I felt much better for a short time. But I had lost so much weight in such a short time. I went back several more times, but he had no idea what was wrong with me. I had Rifaxamin again, but it made me really ill this time. Another visit, and I had lost more weight. He said I need to send you for a CT scan. It showed a problem with my spleen and both my lungs. I then had to have a Pet Scan. It showed some thing not right. I was sent to a lung specalialist. It showed my spleen , stomach and bowels are clear. But I have tumers in both my lungs. And she thinks I have breast cancer again. But with out biopsy she couldn't be sure. I said no, I'm very sick. I have lost about 2 stone or more. My guts are in he'll. I have headaches dry flaky skin, in allergic to every thing that goes into my gut. I told her I have IBS, Fibromyalgia. I also have Sibo,Candida, and leaky gut. She said I don't know how to treat you, only with surgery, chemo and radiotherapy. I said no. Conventional treatment has nearly killed me. I said I would try holistic treatment. But I can't find any one. So I'm trying to research and treat my self, through diet, supplements, probiotics, herbalvremedys for sibo, Candida and leaky gut. I still can't put weight on. But in the mean time I have had Covid. I'm totally exhausted and in constant pain, as it's triggered my fibro and CFS. Also my gut problems, as I was so sick for a week that all I could eat was fruit, home made juice, soups and smoothie. I have tried to contact a compounding pharmacy for Low dose Neltrexon,. For my fibromyalgia again, and through research I read it helps to stop some Cancers. I'm in such a mess, I can't find any one to help me. Can you give me any help please. Thank you in advance. I think God sent you to me. Eileen. X

when doing everything right and still not better search for the cause. environmental toxic exposure may be to blame. mycotoxins from mold exposure, Lyme disease, heavy metals, parasites, viral load, and a slew of other chemicals we live with on a daily basis. also note fungus growing in the lungs looks very similar to cancer on x-ray. hope this helps and gives you other areas to look to find the cause. real healing cannot be had without finding the real root cause. note usually for alot of people it is a combination of several of the toxic things I mentioned

Thank you so much for your detailed and easy-to-follow videos. I've watched the SIBO and SIFO...and I feel I may have both going on...and may have a hiatal hernia too. I'm doing most of the things you mentioned above and ACV too. Yesterday, I took a few of the things at once and had a pretty intense reaction (I then saw you recommend adding them one at a time). But...here is my question... I passed a bunch of dark gall stones yesterday! I've had some discomfort there and wondered if my gallbladder might be part of the problem. I just got blood work and everything liver related is normal, including my bilrubin. My blood is all good too (not anemic but I was very anemic a couple of years ago). Should I just keep doing what I'm doing? I suppose it's good these stones are passing (they are fairly small...doesn't seem like anything is being blocked). In order to live a normal life I can eat only very basic foods on paleo diet (otherwise I would have teriblle joint paint). Despite being on very strict diet for many years I still have skin problems. I cannot add other products because my skin problems would be really bad. Also, I cannot go to even stricter diet, because then I am losing weight very quickly and not getting enough calories (I also react to higher amounts of fat). Another problem, that I cannot take any probiotics or supplements (oregano oil., etc.), because I react to them too. I am thinking to try digestive enzymes.

Hi Dr Rajsree! I really appreciate all of the incredibly informative content you share on your socials. I especially love your KZread videos that make it super easy to understand gut and hormone health! I recently took a GI map through a dietitian and my results showed significant Candida and bacterial overgrowth. My dietitian said she could either “prescribe” antimicrobials to treat these overgrowths or I could seek out a provider to prescribe me prescription antibiotics and an anti fungal. What would be your recommendation here? Thanks so much!

Generally my first preference is herbal antimicrobials as described in this video. Only with severe symptoms that don't respond to the herbals do I prescribe fluconzaole. Thanks so much for watching! 😊

Hi Dr. Rajsree I've been struggling with chronic yeast infections for over 12 years, visiting different doctors who prescribed antibiotics that only worsened my symptoms. However, after watching your video, I'm thrilled to find a solution that resonates with all my symptoms (Tinea versicolor, ( ringworm - used to have ) , and sugar cravings ). I'm eager to adopt the paleo diet and have purchased the recommended supplements. My only question is when should I take them? I want to ensure I'm on the right track. Thank you in advance! I'll follow up with an update in 90 days.

Thanks for this excellent video! 2 questions..... 1) Is it possible to have candida overgrowth but not SIFO? 2) Does your SIBO protocol work for someone with candida, SIFO and SIBO? Thanks again for the high educational quality of your videos!!

Yes you can have Candida without SIFO. Yes if you add S. boulardii probiotic to the SIBO protocol it will cover SIFO and Candida as well.

Thank you so much for all the great information. I'm just wondering what is the first thing someone can do to start finding out what is going on with there bodies, if they have these symptoms. Can we do testing through your office or would I have to do it in an office around my location?

You might want to find a functionalmedicine provider who can provide you with the testing. You can search on IFM.org
