To be fair, do it in warthunder and you'll still would've pushed your bombs out the way and missed the target. I think it's a bit odd the bombs blew up from the side contacting the plane.

Please note I usually keep a content bank of 6-8 weeks worth of content. I reserve these for weeks where I am out of town. As the server has been moved over, I will start to post these a bit quicker so I can get through them and rebuild my content bank!

Just in general the most epic fails I have encountered are on the ramp and runway. There are some things that I had to click the park break and laugh-my-ass-off.

Kiowa should get more than 1 hellfire missile man, Should be able to carry 2 Hellfires and get its APKWS. Its a scout heli not a gunship, going after camps with a .50 cal and 7 hydras is just miserable.

Just type Enigma into the server browser, or filter by highest player count - it's usually near the top :)

In general, I think you can get your moneys worth with FC3 if you play across multiple servers. For ECW only you are basically relegated to ground pounding. That will get old over time. But if you play across multiple then you can get a full experience.

the su-25 is awesome yea its subsonic, but once fighters start turning with you its anyones game. on causcasis you get a pretty gimped loadout dough

Question...I am fairly new to DCS, am OK with F5E, which is better, Mirage F1 or Mig21? I do not want to go to a really complex plane, and prefer ground attack to air to air, and don't have $80 for an F4..

F-5. Great at A2A, Solid A2G selection, easy to learn.

Mig-21 is not great for ground attack. IRL I don't think it often did it, and the A2G sight modes in DCS are completely made up. It's pretty much the only module that does this in DCS, because it's so old. But it is rather simple, and good in A2A. It's also much cheaper than the Mirage. If you want to do red A2G, go with the Su-25 from FC3.

I love both planes. They biggest difference for A2G is that the MiG21 has CCIP and the Mirage F1 doesn't. So MiG21 you can do rocket and bombing with the auto pipper and the Mirage you will have to use tables, practice and set the pipper manually. The Mirage does have great parachute bombs you can just fly over the target at tree levels and pickle . That doesn't even need a pipper.

@@rawnukles I don't like using the auto a2g modes, it feel cheap and doesn't make much sense. It doesn't fit into the server. I hope they upgrade the 21 some time.

@@algroyp3r you can just switch the sight from auto to manual. If I want to do ground attack, I fly the Mirage and use the Hi drag bombs. That is way more effective the MiG even with CCIP

Eh, I'm personally never into the " make fun of the bads" style video.

My ping is 168 on the server. Not horrible but I don’t like to pvp above 100. I miss playing the server though

That's for them to decide, I said they can call it what they want.

gotta say that tonally there's a disconnect between telling folks who mainly play SP to dive in at the header and then hearing one of the players in a dog fight (who may be new/learning/etc) described as a fucking brain trust by an observer. I normally like this type of content but that soured me a bit.

I get where you are coming from, but its not like they were mocking the person directly to them, can you really say that you never laughed at someone while spectating? I for one do that, and laugh even harder if its my friends.

Peanut gallery, no judgment of anyone specific. If you do something goofy even when learning, people will see it and laugh. But it’s not done with malicious intent, just to have some fun.

Seems like some of the video is in poor taste and the people observing are so jaded.
