@@Vizible21 I mean, people have to use Primogems to pull the characters. If you want to pull because you like them, then that's on you. If you're looking for the best of the best, you might not want to pull for characters that *currently* are not as strong. Gotta save gems.

People clear the hardest content in the game with 4 star characters that are considered "bad" by meta players anyhow so why not just pull for who you like?

It's so upsetting that her burst doesn't provide a shield like Beidou's or heals a small amount like Xingqiu. She is probably my favorite character in terms of aesthetic but I refuse to pull past c1 for her considering how little she actually does when compared to Yunjin. I will definitely be putting this complaint in all of my feedback questionnaires until she becomes more useful.

Yun jin is good for some characters. But her buff is gone so fast. It works with say yoimiya, who is single target. And add overload you get get some more damage out of it. But if you try to use Candace with ayato, hu to, or the wanderer, Yun jins buff will be gone after pressing attack like two times. There are places both work. Yun jin will work better against single enemy boss figs giving each hit a bit boot. While Candace will work better when multiple enemies are around, giving a far bigger over all damage boost.

Candace has such an awesome design and I'm so upset Mihoyo did her so dirty! I'm sure in the future she will probably get a lot better but for now she's just very niche. Awesome guide and thanks for not just trashing her unlike other youtubers!

She's like kuki pre dendro. Hopefully she gets some new characters that might make her a more viable option compared to just being worse in every situation.

@@ryanpiyo98 except Kuki there was easily noticeable potential. I was shocked when people said Kuki is bad as the benefits to using her were painfully obvious. As for Candace... I fear only few units or even a single unit could actually benefit using her over any other character due to how limited her kit is. I understand if she was a character limited to a specific element or gimmick, but she seems to be neither. Kuki is good because she has an entire element to work with, that being dendro, and she's actually good at her function. Even if future characters come along that can pair with Candace, those are only singular characters, not an entire gimmick or element.

I think a nice slot for her is in Yoimiya Teams, where she replaces Yun Jin. Before: Zhongli Yoimiya Yelan Yun Jin After: Zhongli Yoimiya Yelan Candace That way you don't lose the Normal Attack buff of Yun Jin, maybe a bit weaker, and you get to double profit from Hydro Resonance, which was unavailable in this team before!

Yoimiya makes more use of Geo Resonance than Hydro, unless your Yelan’s Q output’s more damage than your Yoi.

I just got qiqi. lucky me! so i make a physical qiqi main dps with candace, dendro traveler and shinobu i gues...

The new Fontaine craftable polearm is surprisingly good on her, HP% and passive remedying the ER requirement a bit. (you don't need to use Favonius and scramble to find CR, you can stack HP&ER). I found some teams that are fun to use her in, but will keep them a secret, because meta-drones will have a meltdown.

Chongyun and xingqiu makes her completely obsolete but still cool

Just wished her with kuki. And immedietaly thought to use her with: 1. Keqing 2. Kuki 3. Collei 4. Candace. Super budget friendly team

as a kokomi gamer I’m excited to try candace in the taser team with her but tbh the petra zhongli team sounds so fun🫣

i've been using candace in a mono hydro team with kokomi yelan and venti. i used to do this team with xingqiu but candace is so pretty i had to replace him, however im probably gonna wait for nilou and the dendro archon so i can do a bloom team with them and candace instead. i think she will work a lot better when nilou and kusanali come out

I really feel that if she had just a little bit more support (could heal or shield teammates) then she would find a lot more use on a lot more teams. I think she is interesting and fun to play around with but could definitely use a buff.

Somehow I feel like this will be the same as Yae and Kuki Like she has been designed to be played along other characters (maybe nahida, dehya, layla, nilou or even baizhu or al haitham) We'll see how it turns out

Been having a lot of fun with Beidou/Candace/Fischl/C2 Jean. Its a play on taser but weapon focused. I'm sure the meta favorite Kazuha would work better but I just like Jean and her -tights- atk speed buff (and never having to worry about dying is always nice). There's so many reactions/particles going on that everyones Burst is always ready and waiting for the CD to fall off.

I make her an on field "dps" with xinqiu, bennet, and xiangling. her normal attack have a high multiplier and cool animation, i just cant ignore that.

Fun fact: Candace is the only hydro character with a blunt attack (her skill and her N2 where she does a shield bash). Some people take advantage of that in a "shatterbloom" comp: Candace, off-field dendro, cryo applicator, flex slot. It's basically the same as a regular Fridge, but you use Candace's blunt attacks to shatter every frozen enemy for decent amounts of additional damage. Very cute composition, even though it's far from meta. Gives Candace a little more to do lol 😅😅

I’ve got xingque, but I wanted a new hydro character who I can actually play with when they don’t have an ult up. His ult is good but it takes an age to get ready, so the ability to apply it more often with candace might be very useful

I'm still building Candace at the moment, so she's just in my reserve team. I would have loved to of gone full c6 with Candace, but I'm on the guaranteed pull for the next 5*, and am saving for Nilou, so I had to settle with c0 for the time being. My normal team consists of Raiden + Kokomi, I generally run them with Ayaka, but at the moment I'm using Dendro Traveler and Yoimiya, as Sumeru is a bit demanding for Pyro Bow users. I'm of curious of how Candace would do with a Raiden + Kokomi + Dendro user team, so I'm looking forward to trying that out once she's leveled, perhaps I'll swap Traveler out for Collei, not sure yet.

As an older video, probably won't get a response. But with wanderer out, I've been using her with him, and it works really well. Yun jin would be completely wasted with him. One of his attacks can easily hit enough enemies to use her entire buff all at once. But Candace will buff nearly his entire skills cool down no matter how many enemies you hit. It seems to give a lot more damage over all. Sure, you won't get as big a single hit. But it does a lot more in the end from what I can tell.

Right now, i'm still building her but i'm playing her more like a taser team but bastardized with her doing physical damage. Ill try to refine her more after i get to 80 or 90 and talents leveled.

I've been playing mDPS Kokomi, Kazuha, Candace and Dendro Traveller. You should try the team, it has some really good DPR because of all the bloom damage. Kazuha and Candace both buff Kokomi as well. She's really fun.

Does Candace synergise well with Ayaka? I really want to build her, but since i already got a hydro sub dps support (Yelan), i'm hesitating a bit since yelan's passive also give some Damage buff and can apply dan deal hydro damage and i mainly play ayaka as a cryo dps with her normal attack, so ig it would be a waste for Candace burst

I have a question, do you know if Candace's burst overrides ocean hued clam healing bubble?

i think full EM candace for bloom is pretty nice. the waves from her burst trigger blooms and i can continue rotations to other characters since the switch triggers the wave.

Finally a good support for Ayato, I can finally activate hydro reso without barbara and ayato is hydro so the particles he produces can benefit candace alot

I don’t think she’s an amazing character but I really don’t think she’s as bad as everyone is doomposting about. Her NA buff is nice as well as her infusion but I’ve actually been appreciating her E much more than I originally thought though it did take some getting used to the rhythm and timing of it. I’ve been testing her out in a bunch of teams and I’ve been having a lot of fun with her in a Kazuha Taser team with him as a pseudo hydro driver and he can provide some tasers with his fast autos which works great since he’s already on a full EM build. Been using her in a freeze team with Kaeya + Candace + Kazuha/Shenhe/Mona and using either Kaeya or Kazuha driving with the hydro infusion. I’ve also played with a Zhongli Taser with Zhongli/Candace/Fischl + Yun Jin or Xingqiu and I even fully leveled up a rainslasher just to play hydro Razor Taser with Razor/Candace/Beidou/Xingqiu and it’s pretty effective.

What build can i do with ar 22 ;-;

Take NOTE: For those who prefer to play Kandake charged attack dps (like moi), her buff 'Celestial Dome of Sand' only buffs her Normal Attack and NOT her charged attack. I know right, the talent info is soooo misleading. 🙄

I have half the characters out of the 68 total in the game. Apart from Candace, Fischl, Dori, and I think other, I don't have any of the characters you named for team comps. In fact that's mostly true for most of the YT guides?!

May i know how does her ult work? I mean if she infuses the NA of the active character with hydro, then why do people use Itto's or Yoimiya's skill for example although their weapons don't show up to be infused with hydro? Does she still apply hydro even when it's not visible? Like is Yoimiya's skill vaporizing all the time (her pyro skill+Candace ult hydro infusion)? I just don't get it

Itto's burst, Yoimiya's skill, hutao's pyro, Cyno's electro, xiao's burst, raiden's burst, ayato's skill cannot be overridden with any element like candace's burst, Bennett's c6, chongyun's field. Even if her ult doesn't infuse it with hydro, her normal attack buff still applies to the normal attacks just like yunjin's buff.

Their infusion can't be over written by Candace but they use it cus of her a4 talent . Her a4 talent buff normal attack with infusion base on her hp it is like yunjin buff but she only buff the one with infusion that's why most people use in those team even tho those character doesn't get infusion

I got favonius lance in accident a month ago

I use her and clear spiral abyiss with zhongli C0 Yunjin C6 Candance C2 and Ayato C0 (but my team have good gear) Team is not the best or faster one but it is save and strong..... My Ayato dealing around 500k per E 6sec rotacion and that is enough for any fight in abyiss That team just can't die btw and you don't need healer But Ayato vape is much stronger for f2p players

something tells me when dehya comes out people are going be saying a different tune, like kuki

Damn, that last team made me do a 180 on Candace tbh. As a Zhongli main who already has 2 cracked Petra pieces for him, this sounds like a very fun idea. Planned to skip current banners entirely to save up, but maaaybe 2 or 3 10-pulls for Candace won’t hurt…

you got my like only because i nevr noticed her buff goes to everyone not only hydro . i can't believe i didn't see that lol But you have to explain me something if you ever read this message... i got my candace to 40k Hp... now reading her burst she should give 20% damage to elemental attacks, + 20% normal attack damage from her passive (with 40k hp) But then again... i attack with zhongli , my attack does 4300 more or less, i use the Candace buff and my attack not do a wooping, 4600 .... how the hell does it work? She barely give any damage to normal attack at all. Even if on paper it says its 40% basically with 40k hp ... obviously i have her hydro elemental on attacks so i did my test.

No, the buff goes to all the team members but the character with Archaic Petra should pickup the shard.

Basically, in all her teams, Candace is just a super downgrade of Yelan. All her teams would be better if you were to replace Candace by xingqiu, yelan or yunjin basically
