I am not a Lady Vol, in fact, i have never been anywhere near Tennessee, but somehow i just knew that Candace was going 2B very special & she never disappointed! After which i watched her in LA, Chicago, & sadly also, when she helped the Aces knock out my beloved Seattle Storm! You helped popularize the W - Candace & will always hold a special place in my heart! Happy, HAPPY - Trails!

I remember when they talked about her in college. They always said, she can do it all. She really could. She revolutionized the game for bigs and changed the way it was played. Kamilla, Cameron, and Angel are the next generation of the mobile bigs.

She is Fowles, Moore, and Bird all wrapped in one. She was the most versatile player ever. She truly was 1 of 1. Job well done Candace. Enjoy life.

I been around women hoopers my entire life so I thought it was normal, never crossed my mind that it was any different, it’s just basketball and I enjoy basketball. I don’t care who is playing it as long as they’re being true to the sport. I was 15 when the wnba debuted, I remember all those comets championships. Women’s basketball deserves respect.

I respect her, though I never watched her games. I have watched her appearance on TNT, though. I can't wait to see her child come into the WNBA and be able to dunk, as she promised during the whole pay gap / lower the hoops saga. I am also not a fan of conspiracies, but now the WNBA is finally getting the recognition from the CC effect, she retires? If she really wanted to retire, she could have announced it just after the championship win. Now, it seems that she is avoiding Caitlin, when she could have had her good bye tour as she welcomed the new blood in. For all the fan fare of growing the W, she will never get to enjoy it with all the increase in ticket sales. Now, nobody is calling for the lowering the hoop, despite adopting a smaller ball and 3 point line. Either that or the Aces forced her retirement when they drafted Kate Martin to replace her. It's just a shame for her legacy. The effective immediately sounds ominous when they are just opening training camp. I don't like Aja Wilson game for all the mean spirited plays and flopping. Even the oldest Fever player stayed when she will lose her starting role to come off the bench just like CP3. Like CP3, Parker could have lead the second line.
