Cancer-stricken Shannen Doherty preparing for death by downsizing, letting go of her possessions

Ойын-сауық

Shannen Doherty is learning how to let go.
The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum - who has stage 4 breast cancer - got candid about cleaning out her storage units and homes to make for an “easier transition” for her mom, Rosa, when she dies.
“My priority at the moment is my mom,” the actress said during Monday’s episode of her “Let’s Be Clear” podcast. “I know it’s going to be hard on her if I pass away before her.”
She continued, “Because it’s going to be so hard on her, I want other things to be a lot easier. I don’t want her to have a bunch of stuff to deal with. I don’t want her to have four storage units filled with furniture.”

Cancer cures itself Alex Moritz, chemotherapy and radiation are akin to self assisted suicide, Shannon should have took the different route she would have survived just eating Organic Raw fruits and vegetables in a NutriBullet doing a lot of colon cleanses with baking soda getting rid of all the toxins that are causing the oxygen deprivation which is causing the cancer in the first place verything's corrupt 😊

I’m also going through stage 4 ovarian cancer. You’re so inspirational Shannen! No, we don’t wanna die, but we also has to face reality and there is no cure for this level of cancer. All doctors can do right now is prolong our lives with clinical trials. At some point our bodies get tired of all of this chemo. I have had 14 rounds of it some days. I don’t know how I’m still walking. My prayers are with you and Shannen. At some point, we have to be realistic with this dreadful beast of a disease.

The dialogue about dying and what that means is so important. We all will die and we must face that fact during our lifetime. Otherwise we waste our opportunities to _really_ live fully. The fact that we die gives us meaning in our lives: what am I going to do? How do I react? How do I behave? How do I think about other humans, animals, plants, beings? I'm grateful that you give Shannon the opportunity to talk that through and therefore give _us_ the opportunity to think about it in our own way, throwing a stone in the water that causes ripple waves of thoughts and - hopefully- meaning. Thank You both!

@dojocho1894 I also saw my mom's death from breast cancer and what you're saying doesn't make sense! It's one of the most horrible deaths full of agony, my mom suffered for her every breath as this thing has spread everywhere including her lungs, she couldn't sleep, eat, drink, talk cause she struggled to breath. She was on oxygen but she had no more healthy lung to breath with, it's the most agonizing thing I've ever saw and it traumatized me forever. 11 years have passed and I can't heal from that horror.

I can't help but point out that Shannen has lived an interesting and comfortable life, at least for the vast majority of time. We all feel at some point that we have been "robbed" of something, but we seldom look at what we have been given. I'm not judging her of course, I can't imagine the pain she is going through, but still it needs to be pointed out that she was also very fortunate. How many of us spend most of our lives in an office, or in a construction site? Shannen became a millionaire at a young age, and while money is not that important it does give you freedom. She might as well have lived three lifetimes with that freedom, doing what she likes, going where she likes etc. But most importantly she was given the opportunity to spend more time with her loved ones. So my reflection is this: Even if you live more years than her were you given more time or less time than her?
