CanAm Ryker: Wobbly Wheel 😱

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

What’s going and welcome back. So for a little while I have been having a little problem with my wheel wobbling and heavy vibration in the handle bars. I didn’t really notice it because the vibration usually happens around 50-60 and I’m rarely at those speeds. I also thaought it had something to do with the road conditions so it took me a little to diagnose the problem. You wound believe what I came up with LMAO!!! 🤣
Thanks for watching and if you have experienced any wheel wobbles please comment and share. Please Like Share and Subscribe!!!

Do a search. There was a situation when they 1st came out where the nut would work loose. In one case the wheel came off. It maybe air this time but check that nut also! They also make a monitoring sys for them. (chk sling modes)

I appreciate that. I was doing a lot of looking around. Seemed like air pressure wasn’t the issue at that time. I did see that same issues and believe me I checked that too lol

@@OfficialJD3 Check on slim mods and they have a tire monitoring system that reports to your phone if your air pressure gets low.

I'm interested in buying one. Are you enjoying it, or constantly having issues? Also, does it get really hot? I've heard some say the heat from engine is bad. Any input appreciated. Thanks

To answer your questions very simply I absolutely love Mine. I have a 21 Ryker 909 and I think it’s the best year. As far as issues, I haven’t had any major issues except this and after I got into an accident I needed another alignment. No major mechanical issues with mine. Again I have a 21 and I think this was a good year. One of the biggest problems in my opinion is the dealership cost for maintenance. Very expensive and I don’t think it’s very just the price. So I do a lot of work myself

That’s good, idk what caused it. I keep mine in a garage and I guess the cool air did it once I kept it outside a few times during the colder months at work

Take it to the dealer, they told me it was the steering bearing that we ant bad. It’s a 7 dollar part and of course it cost me 260 to have replaced smh

Your 2 fronts need to stay within a 1/2 psi of each other for best handling.

🤦🏻 don’t take “guesstimates” from the internet. Open the right hatch (cvt cover) and it’s printed out in black and white. There is no finger test…spend $1-$5 and get a freaking air gauge. It’s an expensive toy AND your life. Just a pound or two one way or the other can have a domino effect of issues.
