I would suggest: 1. Don't buy during a seller's market which we are in right now. 2. Research values of the vehicle; (NADA, Blue Book) before ever going in to the dealer. 3. Research everything there is to know about the vehicle, and I mean EVERYTHING, options, cost of ownership, gas mileage, how much the manufacturer prices any extras, etc. Watch as many videos as you can find. 4. Get your financing BEFORE ever walking into the dealer. This is critical! 5. NEVER talk to the dealer about monthly payments. Only talk about out the door price. If you get your own financing, your bank will help you with this information. 6. Be ready to walk out of the dealership at a moments notice if what you're hearing isn't lining up with what you're prepared for or what your expectations are (this is easier said than done if you're hell bent on buying during a time when it's a seller's market though). 7. If you're able to agree upon a deal, say NO to absolutely everything they offer. The dealer can't offer you anything you can't get on your own at a much cheaper rate. I've purchased 11 vehicles in a three year span, and have learned through much trial and error.

Waiting for a buyers market has its downsides too.. missing out on years of enjoyment. These last 3 years have been sellers markets. Would I buy a new corvette at current markups no, potential to save $15000 or more makes sense to wait. Saving $1500 on a ryker? fuck it, just buy it. Never know what tomorrow holds.

💪 i added a Spyder Rss and i still prefer the Ryker. So just consider what your riding needs are before you trade. You could always send me a message here or Instagram if you have question i can try to answer for you. 💪Ride safe.

Never pay prep. If the dealer demands prep fee find another dealer.

I spent so much on fixing this goldwing I can see me accessorizing after and not before financing.

I purchased a used 2020 Can Am Ryker 900. I read that I am supposed to register it with BRP so I can get any recall info. Where do I register? I Can't find it on the BRP site.

Do you need motorcycle license to buy a ryker even tho you know how to ride it ?

Well I always tell folks to by a ryker bone dry, you can accessories them later and some accessories may come cheaper elsewhere, no need to add all that to financing. My concern is if you have a trade, what is the best way to handle it, what is the trick to it all and if you still iwe on your trade. Thank you.

Trading it is easy, take it to the dealership and see what it appraises for. So say you owe $10,000 and it appraises at $12,000 you can use the extra $2000 as a down payment the dealership will then send you finance company the payoff balance. You can also try and sell it on your own, you can draw up an agreement with a buyer take their payment pay it off and once you have title give it to the owner. Doing it this way takes time and sometimes the buyer will call you everyday for that title 😂. Also if you google companies that buy cars like carvana, cashforcars, carmax, you can go on there and get an offer and see if its more then you payoff. You can sell it to any dealer that's willing to help with the payoff. Hope i answered your question bro.

Man, i just paid $18554 + taxes ($21332.46) for my 22 Rally + $150 for transport + license fees. There's a long waiting list here where i live (Montreal area) and they all go for full msrp, can't negotiate. Crazy times !

One of the biggest issues Is that they take up too much garage space vs a motorcycle. It’s a big toy! I like them though.

I took the Can Am riding course and loved it. I bought a used 2020 Ryker 900 Ace. The dealer slammed me on the purchase. My fault as in the excitement I didn't take a closer look. They even hit me with higher financing and the finance lady said that motorcycles cost more to finance. I want to complain to Can Am about this bad dealer experience. What would you advise? Can I complain to Can Am. Who do I contact? A little guiddance please? I feel like I'm upside down and I'll lose if I try to trade in for something better. They would not let me test ride it, even though I had my endorsement. I've had it for a year, can't return it.

Unfortunately complaining to BRP will get you no where. Manufacturers don't get involved in the sales part of the business. Rates are high right all around car motorcycle doesn't matter. Maybe take a look at a local credit union and see if you can refinance at a lower rate. More then like you are upside down on value it's common with recreational and regular vehicle especially cause it's mass produced. Another thing dealers don't really want to take them back in on trade and if they do you are taking a huge hit. At the end of the if you trade it and lose but get what you really want go for it and enjoy it's part of buying toys. Don't dwell on it.

Just picked up my rally today.1 mile on it. Hit the streets got on the highway and took it up to 55-60 Miles an hr. Check engine light came on. Does that mean trip to dealer or will it just drop off on its self? Thanks for info bro

First congrats on the pick up 💪 now you'll get to experience what you been watching on KZread. Now on the check engine I'd call the dealership up and atleast make them aware that it occurred and see if they recommend you bringing it in. I wouldn't want anything to happen to it so early on.

@@JRDNGIXX as we speak I'm at dealer right now. Check engine light went out on its own no problem after. I bring it to dealer because bracket around instrument panel came lose so they fix it. As I leave check engine light comes back on. So waiting will give update. Otherwise it's great!

The location is beautiful bro you can't deny that, some of the employees are better then others but that's with any business. I personally always had a great experience there, they have something for everyone. Plus free coffee 😂 owners are good people they've been around a long time and if you ever had a real issue not some silly complaint they jump in and take care of it.

Cash is always God but if your trying to build on credit it's always good to finance and pay it off quickly. It will show on your credit report as a paid loan and credit companies are more willing to lend to buyers with paid off loans.

I bought a new 2021 Rally last July which I believe has the same msrp as the 2022 Sport model. 11,499 msrp, 725 freight and setup, 199 document fee, tax and registration not included. I purchased from a Connecticut dealer and live in Rhode Island so I had to pay the sales tax and registration at my state DMV. That was about 900 so my total was about 13,325. Very happy with my purchase, so much fun to ride. In this market, you're not likely to find a dealer selling at less than msrp, hope this helps.

So I'm paying CASH , any room to shave some money off if you tell them you are paying 100% cash?

Right now is a good time to buy cash cause interest rates are high. Get on cycletrader.com and look up the bike you are interested in and call and email dealers and get the out-the-door price in writing.
