Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it 🌲
Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world, we have tundra, coniferous rainforest, scrublands. What part of Canada are you in? This kind of context is everything.

Vents in the coop are important especially in winter.

Yes! The floorboards are wood and off the ground so we’ve got good ventilation for the winter!

Yes, we have that extreme cold here too! -37 today! In that video we started with -6 and by the end we are closer to -25 !! We also have a video where we are at -37 with the chickens 🐓!! kzread.info/dash/bejne/aJWXvJmnkaexaJM.htmlsi=T9NotMsNZjGpZYoi
Are you farming black soldier flies for the larvae?
@thetielife
Жыл бұрын
No, we can buy them at our local feed store.
-8 C is not extreme cold. You should not use any heating. You're making your chickens weak and dependant on the heat.

It was -20 actually! Yes we learned our lesson, no more heat for the chickens!
How much does it cost to purchase property as such my fiancée and I looking to sell our house from city bs

Really depends on where you’re located. Prices are going to vary significantly. Best thing to do is start your hunt with a wish list of wants for your property. Good luck! You won’t regret leaving the city!
Keep aneye on your hens backs. Too many roosters to hen ratio can hurt the hens. You could divide tbe living space. Untill you want hens to have chicks.
