This is a great video. The country is beautiful. The horses are beautiful. The wildlife are beautiful. And the family is beautiful. A father and his daughters sharing such an amazing experience together is beautiful to see.

I ride mountain horses every other year over in the Bob Marshall Wilderness in Montana. They are awesome animals and have amazing stamina and strength. Not built for speed, but endurance. Our ride in to camp takes 9 hours and is over 24 miles up and over the Divide. You have some great animals there. Even more impressive, is the strength, spirit and endurance of your girls. Very impressed, yet again!

I said this before but I'll say it again, your wife and daughters are truly amazing. There is no way the girls their age in my area could even come close to competing with them. Y'all deserve a big round of applause for raising such good kids.

And that's just fine. The girls in your area are being raised totally different and excel at different things. These girls are exceptional and not typical due to the lifestyle in which they're being raised. However, there's no need for you to belittle others or even compare them. Why can't you just appreciate and respect everyone for their different and unique qualities?

I spent 4 seasons up in the yukon wrangling and guiding all on horse back. Its not easy. You girls r troopers. And you girls couldn't ask for a better set of parents,good on folks . Hell of a way to raise your girls👌👌👌👌👏👏👏😎

Amazing hunting trip, and then getting your moose to have meat for the family and the winter. Congratulations it’s amazing how everyone got through all those hard areas with your horses and all on foot!! We are sooo proud of you all!!

I bred, raised & trained the Canadian horse for many years. They are Canada's national horse, truly a great breed, so much history, very strong, loyal & loving. My horses were trained to ride western, english, drive a carriage single & team, also did dressage & jumping. Had a few champions . Miss them all.

Your right Ed, Jeff does most of the filming and so often doesn't show how much he works as well. Great kids are only great kids because they have a great dad!

What I love about this family, is the fact that when you send them correspondence they, Rose, makes time to respond. JUST LOVE WATCHING THEIR ADVENTURE, WHAT A LIFE!!!! GOD BLESS!!

My family and I lived in north central BC for 40 plus years. Haven’t been on a moose or goat hunt for a few years now. You and your beautiful family took me back to those days when I was younger and could hunt the high mountain valleys in the backcountry. I enjoyed so much seeing how you taught your girls the skills you have learned over the years. Loved the sense of humour you brought with you. Humour can help get you up those steep mountain sides and back home again. I’m over 70 now and fondly remember some of the hunts we went on. I know this is one you and your family will cherish forever. Good luck and keep on doing what you are doing with your family. In these crazy days we live in you and your wife are the role models your girls and this world needs.

Was good to meet you and your family at the creek crossing where our camp was. Hope you enjoyed the 5x5 head I found in the bush and left on the trail for you guys, plus the long moose cow call I did from ontop the mountain across from your camp one evening. Just discovered your channel tonight (and subscribed). Terrific to see the skills your girls are building. Too many kids don't have a connection with the land anymore. They grow up ignorant of what is involved in bringing food to the table. You and your wife are doing a great job in making sure they grow up to be strong, independent, and self-sufficient.

Loved the video. My wife and I were in Central BC in 2013 on a guided moose hunt. This video was a reminder of the beautiful country we hunted in. I just stumbled onto them today, and I can't stop watching! Everyone asking; "what's the secret to life"? Well tune into some of these folks that made the move to off grid, and you'll get an idea of what it is! I've been watching a few other channels for a couple years that are really good too, and been searching for the right ground to buy. I'm looking forward to start living, after battling decades of the ridiculous rat race we've all been sold! They call it "living the dream" because you have to be asleep to accept it! It's total B.S! This is truly living the dream, but it takes a leap of faith, tons of the hardest work you can imagine, and a great attitude to have this.
