SPB means Sripathi Panditaradhyula Balasubrahmanyam.... He died of Covid at the age of 74. He was one of the most recorded artists with thousands of songs particularly being in film playbacks. He broke all records recording 20 songs in Kannada language in a single day of recording. He also recorded 19 songs in Tanil in one day!!!

Well, SPB himself admits in a TV show that he hadn't sung the particular stanzas in one full breath. Further on live shows he has sung the same were the breath couldn't be noticed and such was his talent.

He really sing it without breath, and no one still beat him is special, he is the god of vocals, Tamilans call him as a king of vocals

This song and few others of SPB's songs and his own compositions, to me, defines the phrase "Simplicity Is Beauty". Simple music, simple singing, really good audio editing 😄 (as SPB Sir once admitted himself during a live concert), and a great, legendary, beautiful, versatile voice that sings it out effortlessly and then also acts the part. Had he lived longer, I would have done all it takes to live with him like I'm his grandson.
