Curious---Is the original IMM1000 still an acceptable document for IRCC to prove you landed in Canada?

Would like to hear you discuss the FGL and the August 2nd hearing on the Lost Canadians case. While it's not technically an immigration topic, a lot of people will be able to sponsor spouses after getting their citizenship, so in a backdoor way this should be related to your business. The judge in the case reamed the government for making things up in the last extension of the the stay. She said that ongoing constitutional harm is enough to ask for urgency, and that citizenship grants are inappropriate. Nobody knows what this means or how the IRCC will behave. Nobody knows what the IRCC will do with applications for proof of citizenship for people qualifying in new ways will mean. Will they revise the form and force people to resubmit a corrected form? Will all applications go to special processing? Lots of questions and would love to hear some speculation.
