Hello, I need your help regarding my situation. currently, I am in canada on visitor visa, and my PR application submmited from india on jun 16, 2023. On March 15, 2024, I received a passport request to continue processing my PR application. At that time, I was already in Canada on a valid visitor visa. Within three days of receiving the passport request, I submitted a web form to inform IRCC Delhi about my current location in Canada. Unfortunately, I haven't received any updates or replies regarding my application status since then.

USA is attracting STEM students while Canada is focusing on plumber,carpenter ,construction workers , illiterate spouse visa holders and purchased LMIA candidates. Why not give time to such unskilled labour to do skilled courses in a stipulated time frame. Otherwise they will give birth to a child in Canada then PR. Canada will lag behind in the world
