My personal experience is that even with the adjustment set to the lowest level, my glasses still don't touch the lenses, but actually getting them to fit inside the headset is a bit of a challenge as it's quite narrow. Getting a silicone cover actually made it easier even though technically the space is a few mm smaller with it attached, because the frames slide through it better than on the fabric of the stock interface, and getting a different headstrap was an absolute must because the default one caused my glasses to put way too much pressure on my nose. I am currently looking at some prescription lenses on Amazon because the Zenni ones are way too expensive, so might try those out because using the headset without glasses is definitely a far more comfortable experience.

Honestly, I did not try my glasses on the lowest position of the facial interface. After scratching the lens on my quest 2 I was very cautious to not ever do that again so I extended the quest 3 to the highest position number 4 and my glasses have room to spare. But I also found that in this position I have an excellent focal distance and the image is so sharp.

I've been using my glasses on my quest 3 for months now and not a single scratch, I believe this is only a problem for people like yourself who use small framed glasses. I prefer 80's style glasses with the large frames and have found they never shift enough inside my quest to reach the lenses.

@@megla8000 I have a little light bleed in the headset because I use amvr's 3rd party facial interface but it is unnoticeable while playing games honestly. I use the second spacer.

I’ve owned 5 vr headsets. Quest 1, 2 and 3. Psvr 1 & 2. I wear glasses and never scratched any of my VR lenses.

On the quest2, i purchased prescription lens inserts, for the quest 3, i do not feel a need currently, the lenses are soo much clearer, but that would depend on your prescription. I never tried to use my glasses in the quest 3. Its good to know i have that option though, i didn't want to come out of my pocket any more money considering, i need to purchase new accessories for the quest 3 since next to none of quest 2 ones are usable for the 3.

I play with glasses on my MQ3. I did order the lenses but I haven't gotten them yet. I have no issues playing with glasses.

I had a quest 2 for about 2 years and only ever used it wearing glasses. No problem, when I sold it, the guy at the shop inspected it for scratches, and found none. I've had oculus go, quest 2 and 3, and I think if you adjust it properly, and are careful there really shouldn't be an issue wearing glasses in these devices.

I'm wondering if there are such things as 'stick-on' Lens-Screen Protectors for the Quest 3 ??!

Where does that cool head support setup come from? Mine came with a couple of bands.

What maximal glasses dimensions that fit in there?

I still got my right lense scratched in quest 3. how do I avoid it?

one of my quest 3 lenses scratched, like the right one , i was using lvl 2 distance of the faceplate...

I have a scratch on my quest 3 somehow already. It's near the center of the right lens and looks like a tiny blur when using the headset and I've been super careful. Only had it since Christmas

@@lookwhatifoundmedia hey! I ended up contacting support, they offered a replacement so I accepted. They provided shipping label and it only took 5 days total from my shipping to reviewing the new device! Immediately put my plano lens on lol

Ive had my quest 2s since launch and haven’t had any issues with scratches while using glasses. If the lenses scratch you’re using it wrong

I installed the spacer that was provided by Meta the first time I wore my glasses with the quest 2 and the lenses still got scratched. I wasn't doing anything wrong, I just assumed that the spacer the company provided would safely protect the lenses but unfortunately that was not the case. Many others found out the hard way as well. Using the AMVR lens guards worked perfectly though.

@@lookwhatifoundmedia For normal glasses yes, if your glasses are bigger than normal you need an additional thicker foam.

Some people say dont play with glasses on the quest 3 it will scratch it and they lied
