I have a quest two and my friend has a quest three. He came over to play vr w/ me and he asked to try my headset. I let him and he said the two was a lot better than the three. But that’s just his opinion.

For me the quest pro has to be at least A tier . The eye and mouth tracking is such a game changer. It’s the same feeling I got when I first experienced full body tracking. It’s just so immersive especially when you’re playing with someone else who is using it. Just the small eye movements and mouth movements make such a big difference. It feels like I’m actually with the person. Whenever someone doesn’t use eye/mouth tracking, I can pick it up immediately.

before I got an oculus, I wanted the quest 2 then my mom was saying about getting the quest three because its new and I hated it but then I kinda liked it then I got it from my 13th birthday and I don’t regret it

Quest 1 should’ve been S tier because it kind of founded the whole wireless vr with its headset design

My first vr was the gear vr and I liked it so much I got the quest 1

Im keeping my quest two it’s a little stressful at times but I don’t really see a point in upgrading I’ll wait till the quest 4 cause right now the quest 3 can’t do a lot more than the quest 2

it's a ok tier list i would tweak it a little but it is not bad ill give it a 7.5 out of 10

The quest 2 is still the best headset 2024 in my opinion.

I just think meta 3 is a little lot better than 2 cause it has better feature that can be used for game and much more, which im still getting the meta 3 JUST to stay up to date.

I have the Quest 2 and Quest Pro, and have tried the Quest 3 for a bit and out of the 3 the Quest Pro is my favorite, however, I still agree with your rankings. Quest 2 is great for what it is, didn't really have any major issues. Quest 3 was a pain to deal with; terrible facial interface, vignetting around the edges of the lenses making it not feel like an upgrade to the Quest 2, screen-door effect returns despite higher resolution, loses tracking where Quest 2 doesn't even in a well-lit room, less tracking FoV due to lack of top cameras (can't reach upwards with your controllers), internal battery drains too quickly and finding a third-party external battery solution that works is very slim, and garbage microphone. All these reasons made me return it and use the money on a second-hand Quest Pro which is my favorite headset to date. On paper, the Quest 3 is technically a better headset, but reading the brochure and actually trying out the product are very different. Quest Pro has great lenses with actual edge-to-edge clarity and no vignette which also allows you to take full advantage of eye-tracking, no screen-door effect despite technically having ever so slightly less resolution than the Quest 2, better quality display panels than Quest 3, premium feeling controllers with excellent tracking (when they don't freak out or overheat), slightly better battery life than Quest 2 and rear-mounted, decent speakers and microphone, the only major downside is it can get uncomfortable on the forehead if not adjusted perfectly. Quest 3 does still have better speakers, comfort, and performance than both, but that's where it ends.

the quest 3 interface is the same as the quest 2 the mic got fixed in a update and from what I tested there isn’t any screen door affect The battery is trash yes but it’s still way better then the quest 2 and I have both

I have both the quest 3 and quest 2, and I still use both. quest 3 for standalone, and quest 2 for when I have to test my gtag fan game on unity which is on pc So I use quest 3 for standalone And quest 2 for pcvr

I just think quest 3 should be S tier, just the switch to pancake lenses was incredible for metas future, the resolution is also amazing. Of course its not perfect but neither was the quest 2 which is why there is straps and everything you can buy from 3rd partys

@@Dylanj8795 from what I’ve heard they both have similar battery life and if you look it up it it says they both have 2-3 hours. Also I’ve heard nothing negative abt passthrough. When I used passthrough on my quest 2 it was pretty underwhelming. Quest 3 is worth the price even but the quest 2 probably has better value. Only 200 is wild. It depends on ur situation but quest 3 is better fs

Personally i'd swap out the Quest Pro and Quest 2, the Pro is just so underrated for PCVR and in fact is considered by many who tried it to be better than the Quest 3 for that. The Pro is an amazing headset whose only real flaw was the marketing around it. They really shouldn't have marketed it for AR/professional work. The price was way too high when it released, but it can now be obtained for like 600€ brand new, which considering everything it comes with out of the box, is actually cheaper than a similarly equipped Quest 3.

@@That_GuyFr It's not because it sold more that it is a better headset, it is just a better value. I agree nothing beats a Quest 2 for 200€ as far as value goes. That said it didn't "save VR" lol, it's just a very affordable headset that released at the right time, if not for it, it would've been the Pico 4 or the Valve Index that would've gained sales. The Quest Pro remains a much better headset. It makes an actual use of its resolution, as it has 2 screens (1 per lense) instead of cropping the image with only a single screen for both lenses. It has way better colors and contrast thanks to QLED panels. It has much better lenses, as it has pancake lenses, with the sweet spot being pretty much your whole vision. It has a slightly better passthrough, with colors. It has eye-tracking which can be used on plenty of PC games to gain more performance or it could be used on VRChat along with face tracking. It has much better controllers with batteries, self-tracking cameras, no annoying ring, better haptics. It has a much better comfort, as it doesn't have a janky strap used to artificially reduce the cost. It has a better build quality, along with better materials. The Quest Pro at 600 is a really good price, the only reason it didn't sell well was Meta who first marketed it badly towards "professionals" with AR and such, and also that they attempted to ask 1500/1000€ for it.

FULLY AGREED WITH THE QUEST 2

The Rift S when it came out was really good, the game with PC you could play cannot compare with the Quest. Rift S deserves a S, I couldn't replace it with anything until now that the Quest 3 is good enough.

Quest 1 was revolutionary and started the standalone era of VR S tier, RIFT CV1 is almost S tier but since it had big competion from HTC vive id keep it in A, Quest pro was extremely overpriced and then got immediately outclassed by the quest 3, the only reason it is not in D is because it had innovative tech so c tier. Oculus go is B in my opinion since not everone wants to game in VR, a lot want to watch. The Rift S is D tier since it was outclassed by the quest 1 since day one and even PCVR eventually got better on Quest 1, a better headstrap for quest 1 also costs like 25 dollars on eBay so not a big deal Summary: Quest 1 S, Quest pro C and Oculus Go B, Rift S is D tier

I would put that D tear 9:30 just cause you can’t really play any games on it and it’s super expensive. I’d rather buy the quest 2

Even though quest 3 has colorful passthrough I still think quest 2 is better. It works insanely good with games such as gorilla tag beat saber rec room Steam VR its just an insane headset
