I've done literally 100's of programming jobs using the Power Max and never had any problem at all. And your can lines can pick up noise from anything else.

Would it charge say, a lithium batter 100ah ? I want to set the voltage at 14volts. Also, having a cap on this thing should help with that noise right?

Was the 100 amp rating at a 100 percent duty cycle?

Ill check back for the video, i did a live stream yesterday and did some test on my truck, very inconclusive as my truck has some crazy ripple with just key on. But my truck is loaded out for mobile diag and programming. I will retest on a different vehicle as well.

So with this converter I can run an inverter constantly

I’m not sure what all this means but i think I’m going to buy one to power my car stereo for inside my tool box

Did you ever turn those accessories on without the charger hooked up to make sure the noise wasn't coming from the accessories? I'd imagine accessories running would be more likely to put noise in the system vs the charger.

I need a power supply to run a CB radio and a linear amp

Great video Sam, i had concerns with the one we have at the shop, we have the smaller unit from them, i will be doing some testing, and my snap on unit

How well with this work if I wanted to set up a CB radio as a mobile base station and run a linear amplifier? MFJ makes a 75 amp power supply and it runs $300 it has meters on it, multiple connections, cigarette lighter adapter. But then I've seen these 100 amps go for half the price?

These just make a lot more hash. The AC input that is not filtered out, ends up in your DC outup as Noise. Not that good for any radio gear.

WHAT frequency is that noise

Why is it you double the ac voltage number

How much did that cost?

What model number is that?
