Love how he shows up to build the sauna and ends up on the podcast. Entertaining to hear the story from someone who is not well known. We're all human and I appreciate you treating Pete the same as you do any of your other guests who are much more famous.

Congrats on the sauna. Gotta go traditional style and do it naked to get more heat exposure. Hitting the cold tub after is super relaxing.

In Russia, the sauna is an integral part of life, and it's a tradition that many people follow every Saturday night. Before entering the sauna, it's recommended not to eat a lot or walk on an empty stomach, as this can cause dizziness. The temperature inside the sauna can reach 80-120 degrees Celsius, but I prefer 90 degrees. To start, you need to warm up by sitting or lying down for a few minutes. Then, you can go out and rest for a while. After that, it's time to steam with a birch broom. This is done two times, and then you should lie down again to continue warming up. If everything is done correctly, your skin should turn red. After the sauna session, it's customary to lie in the snow for a short period of time. Finally, after the sauna, drinking a glass of vodka is recommended to help with relaxation.
