Sir, if we take the log of bith LHS and RHS, we get x raised to the power 8 = log(8) = 0.9 (approx) And if we take the eighth root of 0.9, we get a different value of x than x = 8. I don't seem to get why there is such an irregularity. Please explain this if possible🙏🏻

it can also be done when we write 8 as x^x^8 from this x^8=8 and x=8^1/8

but taking power 8 on both sides just gives one answer which is y=8, other complex solutions are formed in it. that's why it is hard to deal with unknown powers.

Yes my answer is same I have used log concept Let x^8=y X^y=2³ Take log with base 2 y.log2(x) = 3.log2(2) By comparing both sides we got - 1. y=3 x=3^⅛ 2.log2(x)=log2(2) Log2(x)=1 X=2
