Energy at starting and ending

Out of nervousness or any other factor, his communications got impacted and this video demonstrates the best what could be the consequences. Product wasn't bad. I only learned the significance of proper communication. Thanks And maybe, he will take care of his communication the most to grab good deals in his next pitches. 🙂

The problem with the pitch was that the founder got derailed in the beginning (there was no reason to elanorate so much about your past work), this may have happened because he had an order in mind in which he wanted to answer the QnA round, or because he felt that his past achievements will give his work more credibility, or maybe because of his sales background, he has more experience in interacting with customers not investors (because this is very much how salesmen talk-- kind of bombard you with information) but both pitches require very different approaches. And then the sharks also started losing their patience, because they have to sit through so many pitches and have to make quick decisions So all in all we can learn from this pitch that 1. you may be excited but always be calm. 2. Be crisp and alert while answering the questions so that your pitch does not go haywire. 3. Be open to any question that may be asked and Even if you want to mention something auxiliary at least don't do it in the starting 5 minutes (because the beginning sets the tone of the further treatment you will receive from the investors)

Yes, he needed to elaborate on his past work. Setting a narrative is crucial, especially in such cases. To explain why and how he came up with the idea, he needed to present the backstory behind it and talk about his past experiences. Providing credentials to the audience is essential because innovation can be perceived as useless or senseless, like it happened with 'sippline' (not implying that this one is innovative). Additionally, I don't believe he was intentionally speaking like that; I think he's genuine. Therefore, I don't agree with those who are calling it wrong, and nor with some of these sharks.

Nope , just look at the beginning of this guy , he just think he wanted to make a mark monologue in tv where the sharks already understood the story and he refusing to answer them and putting them to backfoot and continuing the monologue is disrespecting, even if you don't say your monologue it's still work if you get to business quickly, so it was the pitcher who was acting like he we'll set the narrative and others follow

Har insaan ko proof karna padta hain apne aap ko, jo ki usne kar dikhaya hai already. To agar sharks uske innovations ya designs ko question kare to usse pehle unhe pata hona chahiye ki banda valid hain! Aur wo tumse zyada jaanta hai product ke baare mein! Aur rahi baat time ki, to ye log apna time commit kar rahe hain. Inhone koi condition nahi lagayi hai ki hum itna hi time dege kisi pitcher ko. Ye nahi hota yaha!

If shark tank was only about appreciating efforts then the pitchers can go anywhere else. At the end of the day they have to be authentic and strong communication skills if they want sharks to invest in them.
