TommyKay you gotta play as the Northern Alliance (Afghanistan) in this mod. It's a genuinely hard challenge winning the civil war and then developing a country that is in tatters. They also have a really unique focus tree.

@@stxszek You have to fight for 2/3 years before they come, and they only send 1 volunteer division (who I always refuse). You have to do most of the fighting. You start with no civs and no mils, little income and comparatively massive debt.

If i play hoi4, i usually do the industry focuses only after i switched goverments. It gives it some roleplay like maybe the other government was corrupt or something, but the new government is helping the country and stuff. I only do this in singleplayer of course!

As the maker of the Italian focus tree i'm very happy to see that you enjoyed it so much, thank you for the appreciation! I burned out of modding a year ago before actually completing it, it is still missing the military branch and a couple of extra things but i plan to do them in the upcoming weeks/months, Might as well give some extra attention to the Roman paths since those are by far the most loved ones, hope you'll do another campaign with it once i've finished the update fully, maybe next time with NATO enabled :P

If only vanilla hoi4 could actually have every nation with a unique focus tree large or small that allows them to just have fun and try out new things, very fun to watch tommy love the mod!

The "Ponte di Messina" is basically a meme, it can be useful in connecting Sicily with the mainland but then the problem is that basically all the infrastructures in southern italy are garbage because our governments don't invest in the region and when they do you can be assured that it will be an absolute mess with delays and corruption (that's because to really develop the south you first need to create jobs and improve the education to give people the opportunity to live a decent life without having to resort to criminal activities)
