Paul just created a new business model. DIY Tattooing under professional supervision. People pay for the experience and we just have to tell them they are fucking up repeatedly. Brilliant!!!!

I did 10yrs in customer service before becoming an EMT for 5 years and then eventually apprenticing to tattoo which I’m doing now. I feel like all the customer service aspects and first aid/Bloodborne pathogen stuff being mostly out of the way ahead of time really was an advantage to me in finding the apprenticeship I have now. It’s definitely proven helpful so far to have those skill coming into this industry

Oh man, I had a bar before I started tattooing … and has that taught me how to breath in when clients/ colleagues go all Berserk Mode for any reason… and yeah, that questionnaire is there to protect us from any problem, be it legal or any other nature that might come up during/ after tattoing… in my experience, if they lie or not mention any important health information- they are out of the shop: I had the classical “Oh.. but I took the day off because of my bronchitis, and so that I could get the tattoo” she was taking meds, she had had a fever… and still was surprised and pissed when I said, „ your tatto is not happening today, you should go home and rest“….😂 Cheers from Berlin

Paul, your mic this week has a lot of background noise bleeding through, the gate is working when you aren't speaking but when you are speaking you can hear a background hiss. Maybe increase the gate threshold or lower the gain.

Hey guys.. currently doing up my studio.. any tips on best kind of flooring to go for tgat wont buckle.. in light of constant chair wheels movement etc . . The last flooring I went with came a Lil loose
