Can You Refire Already Glazed Pottery? YES!!!
Can you re-fire pottery that has already been glazed and fired? The short answer is YES! I get this question so much, you guys and it is totally possible there are just a few things you'll need to do to make it work.
Obviously some clay and glaze wont respond as well to a refire (earthenware I'm looking at you😉) but I always think that if you aren't happy with your initial results what have you go to lose?
*Always use Kiln Cookies when re-firing pots as this will protect your kiln shelves from any accidental drips. I show you how to make Kiln Cookies in this Pottery Club tutorial: shorturl.at/gnqA0

What is the process to refire broken pottery? Do you recommend liquid or a more formable clay?
What is that first blue glaze?! The colour is gorgeous!

It's Yoders Blue
Can't you dip the piece into the glaze?
You don’t have to heat the pot up before glazing. Just fyi.

Yes you do if you want to be sure that the new layer of glaze would stick

@@marijaradman3612 Try a pot without heating it up first. It will stick just fine.
