Glad you had fun there, it was the very first Go-Kart track I drove on. Being only 20 minutes from my home town, it's probably not surprising :)

Another track I'd suggest, closer to where I am studying at university this time, 3 Sisters circuit, near Wigan. It is multipurpose track with numerous layouts. I did an endurance race there in October 2018. The layout used for Karting has more of a variety of corners than Surbiton, even holding sessions and races under floodlights. As for the track, it doesn't just host karting, it also hosts events like drifting for example. Local Motorsport teams have used it for testing purposes as well

This was where I first tried out karting. Got spun out on the main straight on the first lap. What a great way to start

I've been here and only ever brake when behind someone, you dont need to brake at any corners

Whilton Mill in Daventry, great track with 60 mph sodi karts

In my local track you need to only brake at one U-turn corner, if you brake in other turns you will lose momentum, if you manage to brake only in the U-turn you can make 54-53 seconds per lap

There was a track near where I live and if you knew you're way around, you could set a lap without lifting. They had three layouts in the tracks life (closed due to covid) and on one of them I set one of the top five fastest times there.

Wessex raceway in Salisbury, great indoor track loads of great corners and braking zones for overtaking

This was my first ever karting track. I finally got the flat-out lap nailed after many attempts. Then I went to Daytona sandown and realised you do actually need to brake lol

You can easily take the clubman track at Teesside without lifting off as well.

I do that all the time at imi speedway in Colorado you don't need to use your brakes at all.

You don’t need to break at this track

You can drive a putt putt Rental kart without using the brakes .. but that isn't racing.
