Yes guitar scale haha. A musical scale played on the guitar. You know what I mean.

It sounded phrygian at first, but it sounded like there was a flat something in there. I'm gonna guess it's A# Harmonic Minor

I thought it was A harmonic minor so i was just off

F# minor because it is the relative minor of A major

Love the thought process F# minor is indeed the relative minor of A major but in this instance it is neither of those.

I play in some random ass alternate tuning and I never even know what notes or chords I'm playing

Theres two kinds of guitarists. Ones who can do this, and ones who get confused about scales. I am in limbo between the two. I can do scales, but i'd be fucked before i'd know their names. 😂😂

Very true! Love the way you worded it. Perfect. If it helps and you want to know the names the trick is to think of the scales as shapes just like you know a circle is a circle and you relate the name circle to the shape o when you see it. Say the name of the scale every time you play it for a few hundred repeats.

It’s not minor blues. Lovely sounding guitar scale with a nice bit of dissonance though because of that flat 5th addition

I don’t know poop about guitar but you yapped for 90% of the video. Just start the video with the scale playing then voice over what you want the audience to do.

Of course I yapped for 90% of the video, to explain what to do. It takes much longer to edit a video and voiceover it then it does to just do what I’ve done and just say it and play it. Always explain first then demonstrate second. It’s clear that way and you don’t have to watch the video more than once. It’s a time saver for you.
