It is interesting to me that the same problem we have in the United States concerning true, correct knowledge of God through the lens of the Bible is also the same problem in Israel among the Jewish people. It reminds me of Nehemiah's story and that when Ezra the scribe read the law and it was learned that the feast of booths was to be celebrated and had not been since the day of Joshua that the people listened and obeyed. Oh what a glorious day it will be when Israel turns to Jesus Messiah!!! Praise HIM!!!

The 10 commandments, where not God’s idea…. Gods people asked Mozes to ask God to show them what to do, to have rules and regulations. And they also said; we will keep them! But God’s standards are to high for human flesh.. if you failed to keep one you failed them all. God is Higher, don’t fool yourself. No men can boast . So the commandments were there to show us a mirror.. that we need help desperately. Cause having hatred in your heart, for example, to God is the same as murdering. So High of a Loving pure standard is God

It's really sad to see how secular Israel has become. I pray that they will return to the god of Abraham, Isac and Jacob and also, that they will get to know Yeshua as their Messiah.

7:18 WOW. I've never heard a covenant explained this way before. A covenant is much more about how are we going to work together to create something more than if we just tried to do it by ourselves. I was very surprised to hear that God’s chosen people were not at all familiar with His Holy commandments. I really thought they would know them better than any Christian, and that, even after the one lady was given the hint of ‘what comes after Friday’ she did not think of God’s Holy Shabbat! We should, as followers of Yeshua, ALL know the Ten Commandments. Yeshua reiterated them in the "Royal Law", namely "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your mind and with all your strength and, the second one, you shall love your neighbour as yourself".

I guess we shouldn't pass judgment on anyone. I personally don't have the 10 commandments memorized either. Plus these are God's beloveds, He wants them to come to Him. We shouldn't be so arrogant to assume we're any better. It's just Jesus Christ who did it all for us or else we wouldnt even be in this well-cultivated olive tree. We are just a branch with no roots. Yet dead as we were, Jesus Christ grafted us in to receive the same spiritual nourishment as our Jewish brothers and sisters 🙏 One day they'll all come to know Him too and we'll all be one big happy family 🤍🇮🇱👑✝️🙏

Look in Rom. 8:7, and you'll get the answer. The Jews have forgotten those commandments for the same reason traditional Christianity has forgotten them: the carnal minded refuses to submit themselves to the law of God. Is traditional Christianity less culpable of forgetting them when its adherents have access to the same revelation that the Israelites of old were given?

Early in 1999, some friends of ours decided to buy a new personal computer and give us their old one. (We had never had one before.) Everything about that computer seemed backward to me. To turn it on, for example, required pushing a button that was marked “OFF”. On the other hand so many people had personal computers by that time - and printers for printing directly from their computers - that it was getting difficult to find stores that carried ribbons for my manual typewriter. As I was struggling to learn how to use our computer, I saw a newspaper article about a lawsuit by someone who believed that a display of what the newspaper writer and editor called “the ten commandments” was likely to be perceived as government promotion of religion. The display was pictured and it was only a “list” of the ten commandments. I had memorized the ten commandments, the 23rd Psalm, the Beatitudes and Matthew’s version of the Lord’s prayer (aka “Our Father”) more than forty years before so I went shopping for a version of the ten commandments suitable to use as gifts. After searching several stores and finding only lists, I decided to try to use the computer to produce a version of the ten commandments suitable for framing. Because I was so inept, it took several weeks for me to understand the computer well enough but I finally was satisfied with my project. I made a master, took it to a commercial print shop and asked to have my project printed on fancy card stock suitable for framing. After having several dozen copies printed, I kept some with me in a manilla envelope, thinking I would offer a copy at no charge to anyone who showed a serious interest in the ten commandments. Soon, there was another story in the local newspapers, this time about another lawsuit similar to the one mentioned above. So I suggested that people read the newspaper story and that resulted in vigorous discussion about whether it was appropriate to display “the ten commandments” (although it was still just a list). I didn’t ask anyone to recite the ten commandments who didn’t seem quite sure that it was appropriate to display them anywhere and everywhere but the results were eye-opening. Of the first ten or so people I asked to do that, not one could even LIST more than six of the ten! I gave each of the respondents a copy of the ten commandments along with my comment that, because I considered the ten commandments to be an integral part of my own personal religion, I didn’t want any government entity or agency to even be perceived as promoting the ten commandments. Later that year, there was another article in the newspapers about yet another similar controversy. I asked the same question of several more people and got the same results. I’ve distributed more than 100 copies of the ten commandments since then. Several weeks after I gave a copy to one lady, she told me she had used magnets to affix it to her refrigerator and that she had read the entire ten commandments every day since then. Shortly thereafter (when there wasn’t a story in the newspapers about a lawsuit), I told one young lady about my ten commandments project and she “listed” all ten. I told her my father had been raised in the Roman Church, that became a protestant when he was in his twenties but that had explained to me that protestants number the ten commandments differently than what he was taught as a boy. I told her, because of the way she numbered the ten commandments, I assumed she, too, had been raised in the Roman Church. She affirmed that she had. How about you? Have you actually studied the content of the ten commandments? Do you know how observant Hebrews number them? It is my hope that several (many?) people who read or hear about my “ten commandments project” will have personal computers with word processing capability, know how to use them and undertake similar projects. I’d like as many people as possible to be acquainted, not only with “lists” of the commandments but the actual content of each one. Did you realize the ten commandments reveal the identity, jurisdiction and authority of the supreme lawgiver?

Wow. Perhaps it shouldn't be too much of a surprise how no one in this video could even cite the first rule of the Ten Commandments: There is only one God ("You shall have no other gods before me.")... This upsets me personally, and I'm curious to know what percentage of the people responded this way? There's so much ignorance of God's commandments today, and clearly a great assignment for us as believers in Christ is to make the road straight for Christ's return. Between 2- 5 million people who were brought out of Egypt by Moses heard with their own ears God speaking from Mt Sinai the 10 Words/Commandments. Witnesses to the fact. Then God wrote them with His own finger on the stone tablets.

Did God directly speak to the millions of israelites or did Moses tell them? exodus 19:21 says: And the Lord said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the Lord to gaze, and many of them perish. why did Moses have to charge the people when God could've commanded them himself? then exodus 19 ends with: So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them. and then exodus 20 starts with: And God spake all these words, saying, is that what Moses told the people of israel "And God spake all these words, saying," followed by what he said (10 commandments etc.) ? or was God actually speaking to all of them? the way it's written it sounds like something is missing between those 2 verses, but i think exodus 20:1 is where Moses started speaking. why did Moses have to go up there then? my interpretation was that God talked with Moses and Moses came down the mountain to tell the people. in the meantime they were busy worshipping a golden calf cause Moses took so long up the mountain.

Make them known to your children and your children's children- how on the day that you stood before the LORD your God at Horeb, the LORD said to me, ‘Gather the people to me, that I may let them hear my words, so that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children so.’ And you came near and stood at the foot of the mountain, while the mountain burned with fire to the heart of heaven, wrapped in darkness, cloud, and gloom. Jesus fulfilled what we couldn't, in the Flesh, that which was made in stone.. So that we could have a relationship, back in Him...His blood did atone! Because He gave us Salvation, and fulfilled what was written, in order to set us free... The dog is on a lead and they pass a man who has just picked up all his belongings from the bench he's been sitting on and as they pass, the man heads one way and the woman with the dog heads the other. She stops and turns to go back the other way, but the dog resists and stops, determined not to go back that way. So she relents and walks the way the dog wants to walk and further down the path, she stops again and tries to lead the dog back the way she wants to go. But the dog resists again, so they wander around the 'park', eventually going out of sight. As the video draws to it's end, the woman and the dog reappear, now going back the way the woman was trying to lead the dog in the beginning . This is so sad to hear that not one person can recite the Ten Commandments! Not even more than five! It is a reflection of the state and general societal disintegration from any morality and integrity. I remember growing up that we recited it every Monday morning in school assembly and it was read every Sunday in church, in my country, South Africa. God gave the Ten Commandments as guardrails so we could regulate our lives in family and community in a way that brings harmony, respect and peace. It starts with: "You shall love the Lord your God and serve Him alone. You shall have no other gods..." That is the foundation.

👉The whole world stands condemned before the great moral standard of righteousness. In the great day of judgment every soul that has lived on the earth will receive sentence in accordance as to whether his deeds have been good or evil in the light of the law of God. Every mouth will be stopped as the cross with its dying Victim shall be presented, and its real bearing shall be seen by every mind that has been sin blinded and corrupted. Sinners will stand condemned before the cross, with its mysterious Victim bowing beneath the infinite burden of human transgression. How quickly will be swept away every subterfuge, every lying excuse! Human apostasy will appear in its heinous character. Men will see what their choice has been.
