I think they know competition isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'm a big BMW fan, but I still wouldn't discount Audi and Mercedes. They make some fantastic cars that BMW dont really have a rivals for. Like the R8 or AMG GT. The RS6 and until recently an estate to go agaisnt the RS4.

Great car. Drove one on a track day in 2012 and was blown away by it. Would want the 4wd version myself.

Love roadtripping through germany, I do it every year. Usually in a modified BMW :) Never done 192 though! Great review.

Loved the video. I too tried to reach 200 MPH in an R8 in Germany. With the traffic I only managed to get a little over 290 KPH (180+ MPH). Infact, a guy in a 991 911 GT3 wanted a go at me🤣 (video clip on my channel homepage)

that trip looked like a whole bunch of fun from start to finish.

Mate didnt have to go all the way to Germany...just do what Ive done years gone by: M40 2am on a Saturday night between bicester and oxford or M11 j7 - j6 or A13 between Grays and Dartford. Lovely stretches of road. You can easily do 200mph legally if you dont get caught. 🤣🤣🤣

Another great episode that is my dream car I have just bought my ticket for BOTB so fingers crossed.

Absolutely phenomenal race. My first out of the country in 3 years. Autobahn was surprisingly quiet when we were on it - just a pity about fuel costs!

I drove the A7 from Fussen to Wurzbrg this summer, was a fabulous road and also quite empty. I found the 2 lane roads much safer and easier to go faster than the 3 lane sections. I recommend trying the Autobahn before the speed gets restricted sometime soon no doubt.

Problems with BMW ?

In Germany cars are left handed but you are driving right handed car.

the rear looks terrible

You seemed to delete a few comments that were critical of your driving but you really should have more sense than driving like that when the 2 inside lanes are as busy as they were in some places. As a daily user of the Autobahn I think the local cops would have supported my concern.

I only delete rude or cyber bullying comments. I'm not taking any big risks here, maybe the GoPro angle makes it look worse than it is. I appreciate your feedback and concerns though and take them on board for next time. 👌

R8 always looked better than the Huracan in my opinion it must be easier to daily too

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they even want to slow down all the gas pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. :-(!!!
